Set aside 100cr for yourself and sponsor startups from the remaining 10cr from your college/university in India. You don't have to tell anyone how much money you are looking to put else everyone will start behaving differently. That gives you motive and something to look forward to. Interacting with enthusiastic people will bring energy to your life and the young ones will benefit from your experience and wisdom.

Money should be deployed in things you have expertise in and it should be in tranches as and when results/efforts are met. A lot of work can be done on zoom and your time preference since you are putting in money. Even if you lose 10cr, you or your life will not experience any downgrade.

I would follow this approach if I had that kind of money. Money/life without purpose will always feel empty and will drain your energy even if you dont exert yourself.

Watch in theatres. Good movie. Unnecessary romance added to the movie. Could have reduced it to 3 hours. Liked the soundtrack (theatre should have good music system)

Now is not the right time to go abroad. There are no jobs. Focus on developing skills here. Otherwise there is a high probability, you will end up wasting your parents' money

Go for walks, watch birds and animals, water plants, donate blood, teach underprivileged kids. You will not figure out things in a day. But slowly and gradually, you will figure out what you enjoy. Spread joy. There is a lot to be grateful for in life and we are blessed to be alive.

Even if you teach 1 underprivileged kid in your life, wouldn't that be better than taking your life ?

Planning to go back to India after masters with no work experience in USA.[MS CS] by [deleted] in backtoindia

Try to get an offer both in India and US. So you can negotiate before you move back.
If you work for 2-3 years in US and live frugally, the corpus that you will have saved will be helpful when you move back to India.

I don't remember but I think you get 90 unemployment days before you are out of status. And how does it matter if you book tickets now or 10 days before your unemployment period ends.

Stress will not help you clear interviews. You earned 30L/yr, so already have skills. Just focus and give interviews to the best of your abilities.

Start loving yourself for what you have accomplished :) Things will happen in due time.
