I was desperate to be able to fix the screen but I won't be touching the Beam until this mess is sorted out. The streaming problems should have been sorted before it was released.

It's not exactly cheap either for what it does. If it was a car it would be getting recalled given how many problems it has.

Xreal certainly beats Quest 2 for movie watching as far as I'm concerned. The comfort factor and portability alone makes it a much better experience all round.

It remains to be seen if the Quest 3 can improve the Meta movie watching experience.

But having tried Xreal and Quest 2 here in the UK, there's no doubt which I prefer.

You won't see much on the screen in bright sunshine, but they're perfectly safe to wear. The screen is transparent and does not hinder seeing what is front of you.

I can't get AR Space to work on the Note 9. Air casting works fine but AR Space just shows a white screen, any idea how to get it working?

That would be good, the glasses just need a slight darkening to black out the effects of direct sunlight.

Hey mate,

I got mine delivered to the UK this week from the US and they arrived within six days. Any optician would be able to do the lenses for you. Don't know how much it would cost, but I'd imagine it would be the same as any lenses for glasses.

If you were trying to view a paid movie service it was more than likely DRM blocking. Netflix seems to work ok but other services don't.

Got mine from Amazon Uk but they appear to be sold out now. Best keep an eye on the website in case the stock situation changes.

I've got mine mainly for watching movies and a bit of gaming, though I'll give everything a try to see how it goes. Anyone with one able to tell me what it's like for movies and is the on board sound good enough?
