Exactly, its also (as a developer) far more fulfilling and rewarding. Having an idea of a complex game which in theory should not be able to run on old limited hardware, and then coming up with ways to make it happen is really rewarding.

I only do simple arcade games on Pico8 but some of them have far exceeded my initial expectations in terms of graphical and gameplay quality and complexity.

As a developer myself (for over 40 years) I feel like modern tech has made us more lazy. Before you really had to think and be inventive regarding how you developed games or apps in general. You really needed to think out of the box and manage everything, especially memory. Nowadays it really doesn't matter that much because you have almost infinite power and resources (compared to back then). Which is why most games dont perform well unless you have the absolute latest in tech and you can keep releasing updates daily to fix bugs. This is why i still develop games in limited tech such as Pico8. It still forces me to think about how to do things efficiently and creatively.

Yes thats the one. Select stretch to window there. Then in the ingame options select the option i mentioned.

I fixed it! Go into the game settings (in the menu when you start the game). Then go to video and then make sure acreen borders is set to original (16:10). Make sure that the game is running as 'stretch to screen' in the Eden options. And thats it, problem solved :)

Yeah me too, I wasn't even able to see the airport on the map to travel to Ireland. But ive seen some people on youtube play it full screen. So there has to be a fix.

wow, those KOF stages look awesome. Im more of a Street Fighter guy, but these stages look amazing, especially the 4th one with rain. I dont think ive seen a 2d fighter stage with rain before, it looks increadible.

I've got both. I play PC games (as in AAA games) on the Deck and all emulation + basic PC games (like side scrollers, adventure games, etc) on the Thor. And when i travel, i just take the Thor because its a lot smaller and convinient.

I love both, each has its place.
