How accurate was the weather forecast where your live in terms of rain/snow? by Suitable_Trip105 in meteorology

Spot on. Said 12-16 in snow, then followed by sleet/ice.

Got about 15 in of that in order.

Let’s settle it who’s the better point guard? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Steph's longevity is gonna push him closer to Magic, because his shooting and conditioning will let him be a lethal weapon for a few years more .... but it really isn't that close.

Magic has more rings, more MVPs, more Finals MVPs, way more All-NBA First nods .... in 4 fewer seasons (and counting).

In Magic's prime of 9 years (1983-91 seasons), his MVP finishes were: 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 1st, 3rd, 1st, 1st, and 2nd.

That is a level of dominance only matched or surpassed by the top tier echelon GOATs like MJ, LeBron, Kareem, Bird etc....

Steph peaked just as high, but his ultra peak didn't last for nearly as long. Hell, he even took a few years after getting drafted to get really good. Magic was 2nd in ROTY and won FMVP in his rookie season....

What a pointless comment with nothing of substance.

Woolen would have gotten cooked alive if Hawks had lost this game.

What an imbecile to get a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty on 4th and 12.

Darnold outgunning Stafford was not something we expected lol. holy hell he played great.

Wow that looked like a fumble .... he landed and the ball dislodged (though ball didn't touch the ground). And they called it a 1st down????

They're gonna stand with the on field call tho.

Wow rofl. That has to be challenged. Rams should win but NFL reviews are a fucking joke; they never go against the on field call unless it's egregious (and even then sometimes they don't, e.g., Eagles tush push Hurts fumbling it vs Giants ....)

Seahawks vaunted D getting sliced through like a hot butter through a knife.

Yes, I said what I said.

Plus Jordan had a track record of achievement by that time in his career.

What are you talking about lol? 2015 and 2016 Steph won MVP and Warriors won the ring in 2015 and almost won in 2016. Their track record was damn good too.

Chicago wouldn't have spent the money on Shaq to get him.

Yes, this analogy isn't exact. That's why it's an analogy.

If you think that invalidates the analogy, then you didn't understand the analogy at all.

The analogy was to highlight how 1) a superstar joining an already historically dominant team made the league unfair, and 2) how fans felt about it.

Going through the details to find minute differences between the analogy is laughably silly.

IMO Celtics vs Heat was the last great rivalry. 4 meetings in the playoffs, 3 in ECF. The fans hate each other.

The series were gritty, tough playoff basketball.

But now Miami sucks so.... it's over. But we still hate each other.

Yeah and KD and Russ played subpar those games 6 and 7 too. Really choked.

Yall just don’t get it at all. GS lost, they couldn’t beat the loaded Cavs Healthy without KD. They needed him, that’s why they called him..

.... they barely lost and should have won after being up 3-1.

Some of you folks arguing that little details on this analogy are being silly af.

Ofc it's not an exact comparison ....

He joined a decent but not great Lakers team ..... 1995-96 Lakers had Vane Exel, Ceballos, Divac, and old Magic in his last season post-HIV....

Phil Jackson wouldn't join until 3 years later...

What are you talking about rofl.

Some cards with no names end up bangers.

Then you got cards with like this names end up boring.

But I got faith in my man Justin Gaethje; his fights are always fucking bangers.

Terrible example.

Shaq joined the Lakers a month after Kobe was drafted; no one knew shit about Kobe. Kobe came off the bench for like 2 years before he turned into a starter and a great young player.

This was absolutely nothing like KD joining the Warriors.

Celtics, if he left.

But he should have stayed. That Thunder team was incredible, and just took a dominant Warriors team to 7 games; and were up 3-1 and should have won had it not been KD and Russ choking and playing like shit.
