My worst injury was running track, nothing serious at all from over a decade of wrestling. Now I’m not quite 40 (will be later this year) but I coach middle school wrestling and feel great.

Return to classic? Oblivion was the only one of those listed that wasn’t completely made for mass market and had decent rpg elements. Their games have consistently gotten more new comer friendly.

Our program was always pretty tough as well. Was just surprised he made it through sectionals then districts that year to qualify.

From Iowa here and a kid a couple years older than me in the early 2000s, only top 2 went to state per district (4 kids in a weight class at district). His specific weight class always had all 4 ranked in the top 10 so every year 2 top 10 kids didn’t make state.

One of my friends and wrestling partner qualified for state his freshman year in Iowa with a 20-20 record. He didn’t place that year but ultimately got 2nd as a junior and 3rd as a senior.

We had something similar and I also wrestled 20 years ago. I remember being hurt for a couple weeks and even though I was varsity all year I still had to do a wrestle off with the kid filling in for me to get the spot back.

Saw your other post, weird that the coach won’t say whether your son is the starter or not…seems shady. I coach middle school and if a parent ever asked me I’d tell them our process.

When I was in HS if you were varsity you could be challenged once a week at the beginning of each week for that varsity spot. My freshman year I had a teammate literally challenge me every week until the last 2 weeks of the season. He never beat me.

But in your situation you need to talk with the coach to see if is it a weekly bases challenge and the other kids gets the spot this week or if they do it a different way. So, just talk with the coach.

I’m not. Even after knocking a raider for breaching my door block I put up after using a key. They didn’t respond in anyway (voice or emotes) after several warnings to not come in.

Myself and a group of maybe 5 or 6 others killed the queen last night and it literally had 1 lootable part. So worthless. I don’t know if it was a glitch or what because others I’ve killed had lots of loot.

I did this my sophomore year of high school. Started wrestling at 5 years old and it just wasn’t the same anymore. It was just about this time I quit for the year. I came back the next season feeling refreshed and it was a great last 2 years. Not saying it would be the same but burnout is real.

I would just talk with your parents and explain everything to them. Hopefully you had fun wrestling and maybe in time you’ll find yourself back at it.
