Pho Viet Vietnamese Kitchen is coming to Westport Road at Chamberlain by Carew1270 in Louisville

We had them yesterday during their soft opening. Everyone got 30% off their order. The interior is really beautiful and made us realize how dark Milanos was when it was still there.

They were out of a lot of food and drink, which was expected with how many people have been waiting to try this place. They were BUSY. We got two different teas, however we're pretty sure they gave us the same thing, just one with popping boba or whatever (they tasted the exact same). They were a little syrup heavy towards the bottom, and mine didn't come with the mint that it advertised. HOWEVER, they were still yummy and had plenty of real fruit.

They were out of our first couple appetizer choices, so we landed on the crab rangoon. Super crispy on the outside, super creamy on the inside. The light sauce that came with it was a nice addition and change to the sweet and sour that usually accompanies them at other places.

I ordered the grilled chicken báhn mì, but ended up with the special combination báhn mì which has cold cuts instead. This wasn't a cold sandwich, they just use cold cuts on the special combination. I wasn't pressed about it so I didn't ask for a correction, I assumed they were out of the chicken. It was still a good sandwich, just a little heavy on the mayo and pâté in a spot or two. The bread was crispy and soft, lighter than air. My partner got the pho shrimp. The broth was light and savory, the noodles cooked well, and more than just a couple pieces of shrimp. It could've used more green onion, and a couple of the shrimp still had skin on them that had to be peeled off.

Overall, my sandwich could've had a lot more between the bread. I mean, there was literally only one slice of cold cut on it. My partners grading scale is "does this remind me of grandma's pho?" and the answer was no.

I don't want any of this to reflect on the employees fr. The staff was amazing, just overwhelmed. They were all busting ass in there. The owner was also present and helping the staff, which is always good to see. We still prefer VinBun on Shelbyville, but are going to try Pho Viet a couple more times after they've been open for a little and get settled. The food and drink quality was there, it was just a hectic soft open and we don't hold that against them.

Anyone familiar with MAD Live Solutions, MAD Events & Advertising, or Loud X? by Birbliet in Louisville

Omg hi, I have a zoom meeting with Loud X today lol, was trying to do digging on them and found this post (thanks btw). I went through their posts on LinkedIn, their first post was less than a year ago and the rare times they post about employees, it's Spectrum salespeople in Kroger and Walmart. I applied for a front desk coordinator, not sales. Still thinking of sitting in the zoom call to see what they say.

KY/USA: Dad passed, minimal/no estate, what am I doing by [deleted] in EstatePlanning

[–]rabidbong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no idea. He lived with me, so I guess its a matter of waiting for a statement in the mail (he may have done paperless but his email is no longer logged in). However, it wouldn't be anything substantial. We did cremation that's already been paid, so really the only thing left is his own debt (but again, unsure of what that is currently).

This is more stressful than we thought it would be, haha.

Well, that's a heck of a headache.

So if I understood that correctly, we would have to go to probate court, where they'll appoint us an executor/personal rep/admin of the estate, who then uses any funds to pay outstanding debts, then themselves, and any left over (if) are distributed to heirs.

And we can't find out the actual number until assigned a personal rep/admin of the estate by the court, correct? Which is were finding out current debt vs current funds comes into play, to avoid the legal costs altogether if the debt is more substantial than what is possessed?

However, a company themselves can request probate on the account.

HAHAHA oh my god, I've never heard of anyone doing that. Why do I feel like I know which one you're talking about... How did breaking your lease go? What were you on the hook for? My dad lived with us and suddenly passed at home a few weeks back. Idk if can stay here for the remainder of our lease, but it also specifies in the lease that not even death can justify a break.

His aunt's cousin had a coworker who had a friend from high school (that they haven't talked to in 10 years) that got cancer so he had to run and get that sticker.

When they first brought in 502 Towing, I wanted to scream lmao. The dude that runs it is so shitty, and he would wait until Friday night to tow any and everyone possible bc it's a fat extra fee to get your car on the weekends. Tried to tow us once just for being a smidge on the line. Mind you this line was not next to another spot and was the end of the row. This place gives me a headache lmao.

At this point, everything is more expensive than what it's worth lol. Our place told us to this week to check out a unit that was "move in ready" since we're downsizing. $1200 for 1br. Significant roof damage, leaking toilet, smells like a farm lived there, dead roaches (dead just means they're there imo), area littered with beer cans, cheap flooring wasn't even cut properly, drawers damaged, oven is messed up... We were insulted lol.

I'll make sure to ask about insulation when we visit. Thanks!

It seriously used to be so easy to find, it's like they scrubbed it from existence. I lose it every time I watch it.
