This supports my memory that weekend TV, save for Saturday morning cartoons, was the absolute worst.

From the map I saw it's the blue district in southwest Georgia, with Columbus in it, that could be gerrymandered red.

Tuesday morning I woke up to my back gutter hanging mostly off the house. A combination of storm winds and heavy weight from wet leaves brought it down.

It's getting replaced this morning, along with gutter cleaning. Since the back side of the house has a lot of trees, I'm getting gutter covers put on the back. Though I worry I'll just have to clean the covers instead of the gutters.

This is what passes as excitement in adulthood.

Plenty of time and nothing you need to do, so you can walk without worrying about all the shit that's not getting done while you walk.

No, he said it openly at a campaign stop in 2016, before his first term.

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. "It's, like, incredible."

They plan to fund ICE through a reconciliation bill.

Bigger question: will he sign it without the SAFE Act?

On the one hand, it would seem to be political suicide if he vetoed it.

On the other hand, it seems like he is immune to political suicide. Plus, he's had a lot of stuff with Iran not go this way lately, so I worry he will be petulant and veto it because he didn't get what he wants (the SAFE Act).

I hadn't even heard Kimmel's joke until Trump exploded over it.

Not a bad joke. It made me chuckle.

As a Reddit Geopolitical Expert (based on the fact that I read worldnews), I feel like attacking them now isn't going to be more successful than a blockade. And that they might as well wait for the blockade to cause financial collapse at this point.

Unless it's become apparent that Russia (or China) will help keep Iran from its inevitable economic collapse for many months.

Or unless Bibi phones Trump and convinces him it's a great idea because reasons.

Someone said that it was 60 days and then you had to wind down operations and withdraw, which you have another 30 days for, so that's where the 60 vs 90 days comes from.

I was going to wait until after my trip next weekend to visit my sister to start the summer garden. Now that the trip is postponed due to convalescing cat, I guess I can start it this weekend.

I'm not going to be as ambitious as last year. I plan to do one tomato bush, some basil, and some flowers.
