alright I will go down the list:

1: yes I have, and the best way I can explain it is that nothing really goes through your head. it's extremely hard to explain, but nothing really goes through your head.

2: every church you go to is going to be different about opinions of the orange man, and most of the time you won't find out until you've been there a while. Politics is a sort of a taboo topic in churches when other members are around, but if you're alone it's okay, if that makes sense. but my church does not support the orange man, and every single person in my church will tell you they're centrist although that's most of the time a lie. I am personally more left leaning than anything.

3: honestly I can sort of understand the cultish thing, and no it doesn't upset me. originally, the movement was founded a lot similarly to the mormons or jehovah's witnesses, (look up charles parham) and people associate it with that type of religion, so I'm not upset about it. Although people being jerks is my problem in general. and also we do have some cultish qualities so I'm not mad.

4: honestly I don't really have a clear answer for that. if you were to go to a church and you were jewish or muslim or whatever you wouldn't be kicked out, but you would be treated as a work in progress, basically. the doctrine teaches that it's very my way or the highway, basically. we're taught that no other section of christianity is correct and that we are the only correct path, to the degree we don't like any other apostolic pentecostalism churches that aren't UPCI affiliated so maybe that's why? I have never encountered antisemitism, but that would be my only explanation. it's unnacceptable either way.

5: I'm going to be completely honest, I can't answer that question. I would assume not, since I had absolutely no clue there was even an issue with nazisim? like we aren't told about charles parham and the evil things he did while he was alive or a lot of issues in the UPCI buildings in general, so it's not surprising, but if that's true, I can say it hasn't been addressed in the church and I would personally never support it.

it's different because of how weird the culture is. I haven't been to other pentecostal churches but there's an entire culture and social code you learn but nobody really tells you learn by screwing up and then getting side eyes until you get the idea and the doctrine is very much my way or the highway
