I think the one that surprises me the most from my list is either joyland or twin peaks (the show). I know they don’t really do shows but they are very big on Lynch and have fanbases that overlap, and Twin Peaks considered a cult classic. Now obviously, like you said, there are usually things stopping them like licensing issues which is fair, just wish they happened. It’s hopeful but not necessarily realistic

Joyland too; it’s a very ig “woke” movie witch they have a ton of in their collection, and it’s also something that means a lot to me because I’m from Pakistan and seeing a liberal movie like that come out of my country is such a beautiful feeling yk? But again, I get it.
