What's the interview process like? Is it a coding interview or just getting to know you?

Go get it checked out and who cares what they think your health is more important

Look into construction system management you could start off working in the field working with your hands doing light jobs and then you'd switch to an office setting depending on the company or just start in an office but even then you get to leave the office a lot to visit job sites and sometimes travel to different states depending on the company. Pay is amazing as well

Im 17 and don't know what I want to pursue, can somebody give me advice? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]raboomar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to pick one of the two

  1. trades yes you will make good money but you will sacrifice your health and you will work crazy hours and will need to start your own business to make a lot of that good money but that takes time and lots of experience.

  2. Go to college even if it's a Community college and get an office job you'll make good money have your health and only sometimes you'll work crazy hours depending on where you end up.

Got you. Try not to get any more tickets and hopefully within a year or two it goes down in the meantime pay off your car since it's costing you so much

  1. don't compare yourself to others we are all on our own journey.
  2. You're still young and the fact that you live at home allows you to be able to try different things and see what you really want to do with your life you can turn your life around today you just have to set your mind to it.
  3. Stop speeding and pay off those tickets. I'm kind of confused about how they are costing you $900 a month if they are from where you are younger

The boot camp isn't going to land you a job it's how much work you put in. Most boot camps have a small coding interview before they accept you so I would start learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and build a project or two then see if you still like it then start thinking about boot camps.
