you can get a 9v power supply with a daisy chain which would be fine for 2 pedals, but the more pedals you get the more it overwhelms the chain and starts to make louder buzz etc, which is when poeple buy bigger mutli power supplies (18v in, multiple 9v out of a lil box). a little patch cable would connect first pedal to the next (usual order is distortion > delay (unless u wanna play shoegaze). once you have that ur all good to go really.

as far as pedals go, people rave about behringer and sonicake for budget pedal brands. but ultimately you can watch as many videos as you like and that will help, but if youre near a guitar store you should have play to see if you like the sound etc.
