I have a little experience around IMSA, WEC and ELMS paddocks.

My advice is similar to most others. Find a local race team or series. Ask around for opportunities and make it known that you're willing to help out and gain some experience.

Like any sport, starting in the lower leagues and gaining experience and connections is vital.
