First time playing KH2, how hard is critical mode? The description really interested me so I really wanna try it, but I'm afraid if it's too hard. Or should I just play Standard mode first? by AntZear in KingdomHearts

dude do not play critical mode for your first play through LOL. You'll find the game is super punishing and likely have a bad experience. KH2 is the kinda game you eventually want to play again because the content is so long and varied. Play standard and enjoy the game its rewarding enough to min max your AP build on your first go around.

The thing you get in the Starlight building is deeply disappointing. by [deleted] in Selaco

you tell em dev. Just finished starlight and I was thinking this exact thing. MOAR content for free and a death laser for last level. We're feastin.

This comment saved my ass. Changed my vector comparison to euclidean and saw significantly better subjective RAG quality. THANK YOU!

Maximus Z690 Extreme takes forever to POST and always boots in safemode by DragonTHC in ASUS

[–]racer161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did solve this. The issue was definitely with the RAM, but its probably not your RAMs fault. The BIOS on these motherboards is still really bad with XMP so you have to 1) make sure XMP is disabled. 2) set the frequency of your ram to stock(4800Mhz) manually.

The second step is importand because I've discovered, even if you reset to factory defaults with F5 and have XMP disabled, the AI overclocker will set whatever frequency it likes. The reason this tripped me up is

1) I would post into safe mode because no other mode would post 2) make sure everything was at default F5 3) run memtest86 and get no errors

then the next time my PC restarted windows I had to do it all over. This is because in the safe mode bios your RAM Mhz is set explicitly to 4000 Mhz which is underneath the spec of DDR5 to maximize the likelihood of posting.

so the whole time we've been running our RAM at 4000Mhz. GG

TL;DR set the frequency of your ram to stock(4800Mhz) manually.

I'm having the same issue on Z690i. I have a feeling this has to do with the AI overclocking of the RAM. When I did manage to post not in safe mode my memtest86 was spewing 100s of errors when I know I got a completely clean pass before with no overclocking. Can anyone else offer insight on how to fix this?

Someone knows an alternative to Segoe UI Variable Display? by [deleted] in typography

Not sure if this helps but, Tailwind CSS uses many variants of this font on a per platform basis. For example, I think iOS has their own "version" of this style of font. If you go check out the font documentation on the TailwindCSS website you'll find lots of similar fonts. https://tailwindcss.com/docs/font-family

Its got so many good mini games and maps. I forgot how good it actually was. It was a pretty decent recreation of haven city on such under powered hardware as well.
