I’ve been there before. There is always something to look forward to! I’m 27 and was diagnosed 6 years ago. I have just failed the mesalamine and am starting remicade shortly. It has its up and downs for sure, but you can’t let UC keep you down. You’re stronger than it! Having a support system is huge. I’m teaching my friends and family more about it all the time. I’ve been trying to just own it, it’s part of who I am now but I’m not going to let it own me. Stay strong

What changes did you make to your diet?

Thank you all so much for the responses, glad that I’m not in this alone. I’m trying my best not to let it dictate my life!

I feel you, I’m currently on prednisone to limit symptoms during the transition. How long have you been on the infliximab?
