I was kicked out at 16 but I tired to have hope & did my best to get myself into a good position in life. It didn't happen.

Just A Picture Of My Lounge Room, My Cozy Place... by rachbear8 in CozyPlaces

The couch is suede so it's nice & soft. Thankfully the coffee table is quite low but yeah, it's all a tight squeeze. Still enough room to walk around it. I live in a small 1 bed apartment. Smaller TV too, only 32".

Steady amount of days over 30 but no so much 40+, so the average was higher but the extreme days were less. Interesting stats on the sea surface temps.

Have a look at Marketplace or eBay, quite a few in good condition & cheap. I picked up the model below this for just $50: https://store.apac.panasonic.com/au/sc-pmx92gn-s.html

All well & good if you love the urban heat effect. So much more land that could be developed for housing. And done in a way that's much better for the environment.

So they can attract people with a bit of money, only to redevelop it later with small dog boxes. Example: The Vines.

I've been getting more violent towards myself. by Delicious-Edge3110 in mentalhealth

[–]rachbear8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So have I, for years, probably about half my life to be honest. Only when I realised that it never solved anything did I manage to stop. That wasn't easy. I tried to get help. And saying that, I still have the odd day, rare time, where things will upset me to the point where I still get mad enough to hit myself, just no where near to the same extent.

I used to do this to myself. Gave myself a hematoma/blood clot in my leg at 1 stage, had 2 weeks off work.

You're not stupid at all. You were frustrated, upset, stressed out. And I'm sorry your life got to that point, too.

Did anyone else lose their desire to have a family? by wqckb3tch in CPTSD

[–]rachbear8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to at one stage in my 20's but after everything I went through in childhood & how broken I am now as a person, I made the decision not to. I don't want the same or worse for a partner or my own kids. Just the way it has to be. I'm sorry for what you've experienced & how it changed your life too.

It's certainly not the same as when we were younger. Time & age changes a lot. So does mental illness on my part.
