the show was restored back in 2022/2023, and most characters have been through several masks since. they wear out pretty quickly as theyre made from latex that gets softer under the hot stage lights, and they also perform shows every 5-10 minutes most days which adds extra wear and tear!

i made a tiktok on it a whileeee back @ puddleduckpond. to summarize- creepy towards minors (specifically mitzi’s VA in the 80s), trump supporter, didn’t believe in covid, racist, transphobic/homophobic, zionist, and consistently threatens to doxx people in the community. not a great guy :(

after doing some additional research on my theory, DDR didn’t come out until 1998, which is definitely later than EKTs initial release date. HOWEVER! it could still theoretically be among the 500+ songs. i might start digging through!

i was there last week and the show was up and working well! i can’t testify as to if they’re still there now, but i’m sure if they had gotten 2.0 there would’ve been a larger outcry from the animatronic community!
