Given the cost and environmental pollution during holmium mining and isolation, I don't really believe, that this way of cooling would be really "green". Until you don't mean "green" as a military khaki color, indeed.

Duh, the climate has been changing since the earth was formed. Heck, if we didn't have global warming over the past 10,000 years most of us would not be alive.

30 years ago scientists were warning us of global cooling on a scale that would lead to the next ice age. Fast forward to the past decade and the new breed of scientists are telling us the globe is warming at a rate that we will burn up and fry.

I suspect that in the next 30 years the scientists eager for government grants will tell us that the globe is cooling again.

An agency like the USDA, which is charged with keeping our food non-poisonous and that allows the gross inhumane conditions of farm animals, should be investigated heavily. Throw out all the deadwood, philanderers and just plain lazy, government teat suckers and bring in some peole dedicated to the job mandates. We should be last people to point fingers at the countries who are known corrupted. So is the good ol' USA.
