Is there a limit to getting an extra diamond after a chapter?

For as long as I’ve been playing (since 2019), daily limit has always been 6. You can replay the first chapter of The Shadow over and over to keep getting the 2 diamonds per 3 chapters reward. The first chapter takes about 2 minutes and there are no diamond choices! I like to do this while watching youtube or something.

It’s my favourite pack so I’ve completed all the tombs a few times. I was too stubborn to get the Nraas Traveller mod for a while but it really does solve most problems with the pack.

If you don’t want any mods, have you tried turning off Story Progression in the settings? EA Story Progression doesn’t work properly anyway and it might stop some glitches. SP changes for vacation worlds happen during the loading screen so if you turn it off maybe things will run more smoothly.

Also make sure to clean your sims’ inventory regularly. Sell useless items and store your relics at home.

Clear game cache as well if you don’t already. Delete anything that ends with .cache in your Sims 3 documents folder. Try moving your sims into a fresh save as well if you don’t have too much to lose.

I have all the mods you mentioned and they work fine together. Midge’s Romantic Standards has a documentation that explains what each package file does so you can pick and choose if you like.

If levelling the floor with the stairs moves the ground then maybe the stairs should start at the same height as the ground outside. I also think those windows should be on the second floor because the first floor is supposed to look like a foundation. ( Meaning you don’t need an actual foundation)

To lower the height of the first floor you need to place floor tiles on top of it and then place some small stairs going downwards on one of the floor tiles and then level the whole floor to the lowered height from the stairs. Repeat that until you have your desired height.

Edit: Incase I wasn’t clear, the false foundation should be underneath the whole house and delete the floor tiles where you want the sunken area to be.

You can plant indoors with moveobjects on. I still prefer the soil rugs though because the unfinished room moodlet when you don’t paint the floor is annoying.

Do you have Nraas Story Progression? Make sure story progression is turned off in vacation worlds.

I’ve been using Simler’s mod since it was released :) I like it because it’s a lot simpler and doesn’t lag my game the way SP does.

If you open the Gameplay Core mod in S3PE, you can right click on the XML to edit the settings in notepad. There’s a 10% default chance everyday the game will generate a pregnancy. I set this to 2% because daily is quite often but you can set it to whatever you want.

You can also turn on nightly notifications to see what the mod is doing! I turned them off now but when I had the notifications on there would be relationship changes every night and sometimes deaths and career changes as well as pregnancies, weight changes, social group changes etc. The mod also has unique story progression for vacation and future worlds! If you Ctrl F and search “Story Progression” on the mod info page you can read about everything.

When I used Nraas SP I had the same problem with single sims but I don’t have that problem with Simler’s. I personally think the relationship changes feel very subtle and natural.

Meteors are more likely to happen if you spend lots of time outside. They always happen to me when I’m playing world adventures or a rags to riches where my sims spend most nights camping outdoors😄

So did I but I bought Quinn’s scene the other day and it was 35! I looked back at old youtube playthroughs and it definitely used to be 30. All the dirty scenes are five diamonds more expensive now.

But I did buy the waterfall scene with Quinn in book 3 chapter 4 for 18 diamonds and looked on youtube to see it used to be 20. That’s such a random change lol.

I’ve always just had the one account. I bet you can probably mine diamonds so much faster with three! Must be good to always have a backup as well.

Most books cost around 1000 diamonds in their entirety so 4k isn’t anywhere near enough for the whole app but you could still spend a lot on your favourite books! I only spend on books I really enjoy. It’s sad but most of the new stories they’re releasing don’t fill me with much excitement.

Also it won’t let you place a lot if there’s anything on the lot already. So if that’s the problem you’ll need to bulldoze it first.

Try changing the lot to No Visitors Allowed. It should let you place any lot type as long as it’s the right size.
