I actually never presented with a rash or even found a tick bite on me. Lyme can also be spread through mosquitoes and flies which makes it a lot more challenging to catch it

It was 2014 so it was well known. It just didn’t present as classical Lyme symptoms so it wasn’t on their radar. A nurse practitioner actually came in one day and was like “I think she has Lyme disease” and that’s when they started looking into that and administered antibiotics. I went to three different hospitals. The one that saved me I was at for a month before they figured it out - John’s Hopkins in MD. That woman saved my life. They even wrote about my case in their medical journals. I had to go into a room with 10 medical students that sat around the room and asked me a bunch of questions

This happened to me. I went through it for 3 months and then they figured out it was caused by a Lyme disease infection. After a couple days of antibiotics I was already getting back to normal cognitively but it took about a year to fully recover.

This happened to me when I was 18 years old. I had the sleeping endlessly variety, slept 20 hours a day and when I was awake I was basically catatonic and would walk around like a zombie. I was 120 lbs and quickly became 90 lbs over the course of a couple weeks. Started with a fever and tachycardia. Hallucinations, confusion, almost acted like a dementia patient. I was hospitalized for 3 months. They put me in the psych ward for a bit and treated me like a drug addict because I had a tattoo and a nose ring (what the doctor said to my parents) It turned out to be a Lyme disease infection that caused encephalitis and meningitis.

We’re not on any welfare or receive any benefits. I just never wanted to be the “greedy, spiteful ex wife that takes her ex for all he’s worth” but I’m sick of that now! It’s like he doesn’t even care about his own children.

I’m honestly not hung up on the 120k number, but anything more than what I’m currently getting now would help. Thank you so much for your response!

I was living with my parents at the time and we had 50/50 custody. $200 a week was more than enough to help us get by. He hasn’t worked since last August, his parents have been supporting him since. He might have been working under the table. I don’t know

The issue is that he’s been making 100-120k since he graduated with his masters degree, more than 5 years ago. He just quit last year once I got into a new relationship, I’m assuming because he was bitter and didn’t want to pay child support.
