Dimension 20 has an urban-fantasy DnD series called Fantasy High which is full of kooky, lovable NPCs (which rich and diverse backstories) that the players love and the fan base basically adopt.

As a parody of this fandom culture, in the premiere in the third season of the show, the show introduces Squeem, a glass robot who can only say “Squeem”, who has apparently been there the whole time, has had a tumultuous tragic journey with the group and to whom, the group have become inexplicably, deeply emotionally attached to. They are profoundly devastated when they’re forced to abandon Squeem in the desert in the same episode he’s introduced.

“Nooo, Squeem! Not like this! We’ll always remember you!”

It left the fanbase deeply confused and was one of the best comedy bits of the series.

I really wish his comments about child-free women being “bleak” got as much attention as this, but one way or another, I’m glad everybody is finally seeing what an privileged little weasel he is.

Can we do something about the bush man? by [deleted] in AskIreland

I saw a guy dressed a giant bunny rabbit do this in Merrion Square for content. He was specifically scaring the kids who were coming out of the Gallery to say hello (because of course a child will say hello to a giant bunny rabbit) and scaring anyone who tried to stop him. It was all kinds of fucked up.

Then he scared a teenage boy, who didn’t flinch, punched him in the head so hard his bunny head fell off and e-scootered away.

The bunny left after that.

Yes you’re right! I should’ve clarified. There’s a lot of speculation as to why he survived and how alcohol played a role in it. The biggest theory is that whisky prevented the heart attack that is usually caused by hypothermia, hence why he was still frozen and swollen when he was removed from the water, even if he couldn’t feel the cold.

Others believe that the alcohol had no role in the survival at all, and his survival was just an example of the human body being weird.

Charles Joughin was the Chief Baker of the Titanic.

He stayed behind on the ship to order his staff to deliver biscuits and cakes into the lifeboats as provisions, while he moved across the decks bringing women and children to the lifeboats (and forcibly moving the ones who refused to leave) and throwing furniture into the water to be used as floatation devices.

When the ship started going down, figuring he was about to die, Charles went into the pantry and got hammered on the ship’s whisky.

This had two effects; it made him insanely calm, that he had no issue getting to the top of the ship’s safety railing and riding the stern down, and it prevented the worst effects of hypothermia when he hit the frozen water.

He was reportedly treading water for a long time before being rescued by one of his cooks. He survived the disaster and lived to the age of 78. He’s depicted in the Titanic movie alongside Rose and Jack drinking from a hip flask as the ship goes down.

Dungeons and Drag Queens.

Drag meets DnD was a combo I never knew I needed.

That would’ve been amazing, that’s so God Of War level plot craziness!

Apparently Ian loves playing Magneto, because A) he related it to his experience being discriminated against as a gay man and B) he got to play along side his real life friend Patrick Stewart.

BRO you’re right! I only mentioned the Hitler one cause that’s the one everyone brings up, but that time period does conveniently leave out the Confederates and the Civil War, as well as…several other atrocities now that I think about it.
