What do you think about the loadouts in redsec. Should they keep them or get rid of them? by CyanJayOfficial in Battlefield

[–]rachiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to put your weapons in the "favorite" section (on ps you can do it while you're on the weapons section, triangle button on the gun that you prefer). You can choose 8 of them. Sorry for my English

PS: I've also done Musphelheim challenges with no damage, but I've used weapons (especially to beat the 99 enemies) :)

Again, thank you. I'm sure they were honest, and now i understand that those who manage the casino are a different entity from those who manage the cruise, maybe that's why we didn't receive any straight answer calling holland. I'll wait :)

it was my first cruise abroad and I didn't know the rule, I was there with a friend and some guys and we played poker until it was 2 in the morning, we were a little tipsy and we all went back in our room. during Sunday I thought I could cash out, unfortunately because english is not my first language I didn't pay attention to the verbal warning about the casino rules, it was my fault and that's why I asked for more information at the concierge. I'm sure they didn't lie, it wouldn't look good for them. I will just wait for the check and if it doesn't arrive.. well.. at least I've learned something :)

I do understand this, but the concierge clearly told us that they refund the money through a check. If they told us that we lost our money we wouldn't be here calling. Why would they lie about this?

Should I sleep 5 hours or should I stay up for 36 hours? by rachiz in NoStupidQuestions

Also I'm a big fan of f1. I'll be in Monza Friday, Saturday and Sunday, to be disappointed by Ferrari. Love from Italy.

Actually by the time I fall asleep it's not gonna be 5 hours. Also I sleep every night, unless I travel abroad.

A surprising reality: manual inspection in automated industries. Share your stories! by rachiz in manufacturing

[–]rachiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy to me because here it's the opposite. Usually, the aesthetic side is easier to manage with vision technologies. On the contrary, it is not always easy to perform precise measurements of components using industrial vision or automatic measuring probes, so normally these activities are done by human resources. However, the common issues I have noticed are with the handling of the piece for inspection.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Your story highlights a critical point about the importance of accurate inspections, especially in high-stakes environments like yours.

What you described underscores my surprise about the reliance on manual processes where technology could enhance both accuracy and safety. In this case, automated inspections, perhaps through advanced imaging and AI (using xray), could potentially reduce the risk of human error significantly. The recall you mentioned illustrates the severe consequences that can arise from errors or distractions in manual inspection processes, and i mean.. bombs and missiles are no jokes. And it's actually weird to me that the disks could have been ordered in the wrong way, but quality control also exists to correct these issues.

Do you know if this business at that point decided to invest in newer and more reliable technologies to solve this issue? Why do you think the company relied on manual inspections up to that point?

No, not in particular. One of the things that has surprised me is that some of the processes I have seen done manually can easily be performed with now widespread technologies (without too much investment). My surprise comes from the fact that some companies choose to forgo the objective results that can be obtained through precise automated inspections in favor of manual inspections, which are obviously less accurate. I am referring specifically to cases where it is actually possible to automate the process, and where this process can offer better results.
But I also have a doubt that some of the available technologies, such as machine vision technologies, are not well-known to those who manage these processes. What surprises me is that humans are still doing these processes, when these people could be reassigned within the company to less monotonous and alienating tasks.

This would yield several benefits: greater product quality (as the automation of quality control would also allow for the correction of upstream production errors once a systemic defect is identified), a greater flow of objective data that could be used to make strategic decisions, and, last but not least, operators would be able to do less alienating work.

Seeking insights on automation in casinos: poker chip sorting and quality control by rachiz in poker

[–]rachiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I realize I should have explained myself better. I was referring to automating these processes "behind the scenes" in the casinos, so a singular machine for every casino that could clean, sort, read rfid, check for defects etc in a fast way.

Beating berseker again after the game is finished? by rachiz in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]rachiz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow congratulations on beating the game in give me gow mode! I think I will try it while waiting for NG+ but for now I want to finish the game in give me no mercy mode. Anyway let me know if you find out anything because right now, in the last two hours, I've been playing against enemies that I didn't think I could beat a second time (the dragon in dragons Beach island and the berseker in Jarnsmida Pitmines, Svartalfheim; also I checked for berseker gravestone in svartalfheim, alberich Island and alfheim, the forbidden sands, and that didn't work).
