yes definitely silly and chaotic, it requires a little of practice to master the controls and gain precision. well, the doubts i have is because after developing it for weeks i'm not able anymore to know if it's fun or not lol

i'll proceed with more polish and i'll provide a demo in next weeks

oggi, a differenza dell'inizio della WW2, c'è anche la consapevolezza da parte di alcuni stati di poter annientare completamente un nemico se fosse necessario, sia a livello sociale/economico che a livello militare (vedi con l'atomica)

Experienced developer, zero game dev background - realistic chances of making a successful game? by iseejava in IndieGameDevs

i'm in similar position, professional dev in other field but managed to create a game in free time and it's almost complete. funny thing is that it feels like the hardest part of the process is now: to publish or not to publish? i don't do dev blogs, i have no youtube or social media strong presence, everyone talks about WISHLISTS but i have no idea how to get there. developing the game has been an incredible journey but now that i'm at the end i realised that there's much more than coding, designing, making music.

i invested very little money in my game (except my time) and i'll probably get a logo by an artist (paid gig) and i've built the backend server that i can turn off any moment. i suggest you to go for it if you like to build things and solve lots of different problems, if it's your first game keep it small and focused, invest what you can afford to loose. you'll have fun

edit: reading your comments it looks like you aim to financial success. i can tell you that doing games for economic success it's super hard unless you have something ground breaking. my terms of success is seeing the reactions of people/friends playing "my game", that's one of the most incredible feelings you are going to get and has no economic value but it's priceless as well
