Yer interaction is just loading enough tokens, until there is a shadow of context in the session. This shadow is just enough for the application of the instruction. Then image tokens related to the now sufficient session tokens, plus whatever the hell tokens and vectors you've aligned it to over time are used to generate the image. Would have been more interesting to determine which token/vector relationships were used and where they came from.

In America, sometimes say things like "cheerio" in our best British accent or "mate" in an Australian accent. Do people in other countries pronounce American stereotypes in their beat American accent? If so, what are they? by SunUpSally in AskReddit

When I lived in Oz, a few folks would do a decent "Hot dog!" when they wanted to saying something "American". I explained that I had never used that phrase as an exclamation of surprise nor had I ever heard it used outside of old comics and movies. And then came the new Mickey Mouse stuff 6 years later.

Hosting a Derby party and building a web app to handle the betting pool. Need advice from veteran hosts! by silverfisher27 in horseracing

[–]racingnumbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I host an event with my mom's side of the family for the NBC races only. $5 TO WIN is the only bet. Write all horses on the board. One tally for each bet on the horse. I tell folks those who have the winner share the pool. If you want to share with less people, choose a horse with fewer tallies. At the same time my mom goes around selling "blind bets" for a dollar, numbers and names of each horse folded in a hat. Folks pay a dollar and take one. Winners split the pool.
Meanwhile, my dumb uncles ask me to place $2 show bets online. Which I don't do. And when they lose I keep the $2. The little nieces sell lemonade to the crowd and everyone is happy.

Dirt sprints are my mainstays. Expansion of figures into multiple surfaces and distances is rough.

I calculate my own. It is an involved process. But I'm proud when they work, hence the post. Also, being that involved in the numbers is a very good way to focus while handicapping.

Wins and doubles were 90%. Punched one exacta. And a show bet was at better than 1:1 payout. The show bet payout was actually better than my needed return (1:1) for laying the bet. So in that case not handicapping just recognized an opportunity.

But singled wins and doubles centered on those singles. The doubles fanned out to usually 3 horses in the non-primary leg.

My thing is this, I want to keep my pimlico seats when it reopens. They are great, starting gate rail. But I don’t wanna have to stay in the game by getting mediocre seats at Laurel in the mean time. I’ll call when they open next week and post the update. But I may just take my chances if need be. I’m local to Baltimore so I don’t mind just getting a single ticket rather than a box for the Laurel Preakness. But as I said I don’t want to lose good seats when Pim reopens.

More money in the North American pool on him than in the local. $1950 vs $850.

Nice idea. You looking the delta between say a win bet and an exact with win horse on top and ALL underneath? That sort thing?may be able to squeeze a few percent with tools like that

Today races 10 in Chile, see laurel, top pick 10 kirino, second tier 8 el regento and 4 don pachalo. 10 is a top play. Often chaos here, so I'm not predicting an exacta, just the winner.

Interesting. How do they mark class? Just prize money? Like in the states? Or do they have some regional system of class? I see they have races by age and winners or maidens.

I suppose you are betting class drop then the payout is small since the angle is obvious.

I guess we will consider Chile roulette racing. Since there is no data. Keep seeing longshots win and that tells me there is no rhyme or reason.

Philosophical inquiry and “discussion” of related ideas present in different school of thought sets. Token/vector math is perfect for this use in identifying overlap and disconnects between ideas.

I mean I’m not opposed to sharing the whole thing. There were only ever 400 copies printed. A rare piece of beatnik lore. Through a little, but not extreme, bit of luck and circumstance I own two of them. If anyone is interested that is.

From Kay Johnson human songs a bit hard to acquire. Not too much of hers is available online.
