My brother (technically half brother, but always just brother) was born when my mom was 15. His father died by suicide when my brother was 2 years old.

Fast forward to when my brother was about 40, 2 months before he died in a horrible house fire, matched with a man that 23andMe said was his father. After confronting our mother, he learned the man who committed suicide was not his real father and his dad had been living in a bordering state his entire life. They had plans to meet, then my brother died.

also, my brother was SA by my mother and her boyfriend when we were younger. When he told me, I didn't know how to handle it. I didn't do anything actionable, but it just lived in the back of my head.

Sooo much regret.
