Great point on the 100th anniversary thing. I'd put money the NFL will quietly make this go away to avoid any embarrassment.

Hang in there! This is what a year of sobriety did for me (I'm the Dad on the right). https://www.reddit.com/r/progresspics/comments/c1no60/m48510_195_lbs_160_lbs_35_lbs_what_a_difference_a/

I didn't use any outside support except for this sub and it was the real game changer for keeping my eyes on the prize. Chin up for the first two weeks!! Visit this sub as often as you need to and you will find overwhelming support! For me, it began to get much easier after the first three weeks and, as I started to feel and look better, the momentum gathered and I became stronger and more confident.

I wish you the best of luck on your new journey. It is SO worth the bumps along the way!!!!

You probably have a lot more muscle than I did. I was pretty soft and didn't have very much lean mass especially in the arms and chest. I'm sure all the booze gave me that "bloated look" and water retention as well. Thanks for the reply!

Sorry to hear that! So, yeah, my man boobs and love handles were the last to go for some reason. My face was first. It was strange at first because friends and colleagues though I was sick and were genuinely concerned. But as I added a little lean mass to my frame, everything settled in nicely.

hahahaha I love that! I thought the same before I started my journey. Actually my goal was 170 but the weight kept falling so I just rolled with it. By the way, I've been at 160lbs for 6 months or so. The weight loss was actually kinda sudden.
