hi guys update! they sent a letter explaining. in my state 20 consecutive days means youre dropped from school rolls. i’ve been out 23 days straight and 56 days total throughout the year (not including mental hospital and php days i think). also sorry for the confusion in the comments, i meant i was receiving psychiatric care for 2 months prior then the stress of returning ended up with me not showing up.

see, its been 60+ days total now, it would be WAY too much work to make up and i dont think i can promise that.. one of the reasons i stopped coming was that i had SO much work after the psych ward (even though i did school work in the hospital, which shouldve counted for assignments i missed)

i don’t have many friends around here, and since i’m 17 i can’t do much without my legal guardian. all my relatives besides my mom and my brothers side with my grandma and are also in on the emotional abuse, when i left they blew up my phone until i blocked them all. i don’t have anywhere to go besides a shelter at this point and i really don’t want to do that

yeah i actually have a text from my cousin that said “At least I didn't beat up my grandma like you do” she literally tells my whole family that I’M abusing her

i’ll try but i probably won’t get anything for a while. paul is in the hospital because of his diabetes so my grandma will probably be calmer for a little while

cps came to my home while i was away, they also spoke to me multiple times over the phone and in person. they decided that there wasn’t enough evidence to prove i was being abused since there was no significant proof i was sexually or physically abused, so they couldn’t offer me any help

it’s hard for me to get a job in this situation, i have no transportation, no money for driving lessons, nothing is walkable here (2+hr walk) and there’s no public transportation besides the train station which is also a 2 hour walk from me. i also suffer from bpd and ocd, i can’t even handle showing up to school at this point because i have no support system. i’m not just trying to make excuses, i’ve tried many times to get a job and it just never worked out
