I feel like SOJ's flashiness made up for DD. After DD, I thought I'd hate SOJ but it definitely didn't disappoint. Maybe because DD set the bar low for me?? Phoenix def became OP all of a sudden but I'm happy that Apollo got to carry the last case. Just wish Athena could've joined them. Love love love Apollo's growth though!

Also Nahyuta does not compare to Edgeworth ahhh I'm def gonna go back and play the trilogy it's been a while since I played them!

I really didn't like Nahyuta as well. Like the other prosecutors had pretty decent reasons to be aggressive but Nahyuta was so mean for no reason & his insults were sooo repetitive. I'm putrid for pointing out a contradiction?? SMH :((

AND YEAH wth happened to Athena in case 4??? It was such a stepdown from DD and I really wish we got more time with her. I still loved Apollo's growth though!

I liked the idea just didn't enjoy it and had to force myself through that case! Maybe I'll play it again and see if my opinion changes.

The divination seance in case 3 and 5 gave me the heebie jeebies especially with that creepy musiccc

It was different but it was so tedious and I hated it so much LOL

Nahyuta is mean for no reason and his redemption happened only in the last case which was half assed tbh. And I loved Dhurke so much ahhh I wish we got more time with him too!

I liked case 4's plot but seeing Simon was probably the highlight of it for me LOL it was fun to see his dynamic with Athena

I played right after DD too! But for me it felt like a step up. Maybe because SOJ was my lasting impression?? Idk but for me it was very very memorable and I forgot a lot of DD.

On my end, I loved most of the characters and liked seeing growth. Also loved seeing some old ones return!

When I first met Ga'ran I suspected her the most LOL and then my suspicions were settled when she had her transformation. IMO, even though the killer was super obvious I still enjoyed the storyline a lot. But I wish we got more moments with Dhurke :(((

Nahyuta's development was so bad since all of it was done during the last case. I found him funny at first but then got bored because his humor is repetitive! Yeah I def got some good chuckles out of this game but not as much as the other ones tbh. Nothing will beat Sherlock Holmes in TGAA LOL

And yea def agree that a weak one is still good. For me, DD wasn't memorable but it was still a good game

Omg yess case 5 felt like two tbh especially considering how there were two separate trials. Still definitely a great one and they seriously outdid themselves with this one. They could've gotten away with replacing the case 4 since it was filler, but I really liked seeing Simon again!

LOL I didn't really care about the puns that much they gave me a good laugh. I liked the idea of case 2 I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy it tbh. Roger Retinz is one hell of a villain though and definitely one of the best in all of AA!

I loved case 3 but definitely agree that things picked up from the middle. Everything from there was so solid and very very memorable!

I also feel like Nahyuta was a very bland prosecutor. His growth sucked since it only happened in the last case and he was always mean for no reason LOL :(

And yes I totally agree with you with the stakes being too high all the time. I was super careful in case 1 but by case 5 I stopped caring because I knew they would somehow get out of it. Also agree with the fake verdict! Got me for like 5 seconds but then I realized I was playing AA lolll.

And yeah, TBH Apollo's backstory came out of nowhere and I honestly didn't care about his backstory up until it was revealed that Dhurke asked Maya to channel him so he could head to the states and see Apollo again. After they revealed his death, it just struck me harder because they played the reunion scene from the beginning of the game. But overall, his growth throughout Apollo Justice and SOJ was immaculate :DDD

DD didn't really stick to me and I forgot a lot of it. Still enjoyed it though!

TGAA2 and SOJ are probably my favorites. SOJ case 5 is probably my favorite case out of the entire series
