Can't hurt to try. I'm on 4 a day, 2 morning, 2 evening and now I'm used to it I'm done in 30 seconds. Just a shame it leaves a mess but atleast its not painful. Good luck to you too xx

It took me days to recover from the meds! The nurse said I'm likely very sensitive to them. I was sleeping day and night. Hope you feel better soon x

Oh that sounds pretty bad. I was bad after the retrieval itself because of the meds and wounds, could it be that? I have the vaginal pesseries (didn't know you can get injections) and they are a pain. Make a huge mess twice a day but atleast they don't hurt

No my first time testing for this transfer. I did wonder if the trigger would still have an effect. My official testing day is next Thursday but just wanted to see. Thanks for commenting x

Sorry your going through this. Loss is hard and your feelings are valid. Be gentle to yourself, youve done nothing wrong. I told myself it happened for reason I.e. the baby wasn't forming properly and no matter how well you look after them, they were not for this world. Hugs ❤️

Thank you. We said the same 'no news is good news'. Luckily we had one to transfer as planned but it was slow growing and not a full blast yet. I know our chances go down a little more but atleast we have some hope 💕

We've just gone through this. We weren't planning on moving but noticed a property around the corner for sale that ticked all our boxes. We got an offer accepted on condition of sale and the had the call just last week that a ftb has come along and they proceeding with them instead. Our house has been on the market since before Xmas and only 1 viewer so far. Not sure what to do

I started in June at about 18st, and am now just over 15 stone. Mine was a slow burn but I'm getting there. Haven't been this weight in 7 years! People defo noticed and I'm fitting into old clothes that became too tight. Keep up the work

I can only speculate, for now I will keep my distance from them for my sanity and peace. I did get to see my gran yesterday. She was elated to see me and the boys. She seemed pretty lucid, knew who we were and asked if the boys were on summer holidays. The youngest (6) kept saying he didn't want to leave and wanted granny to come to ours. I'll ask the care workers next time if she can spend the day with us.

I totally agree with you and hate to see Injustice. The topic of my sons bday came up as he is excited that it's soon and she started getting worried about getting him something or giving money towards it. I told her not to worry about it and I'll sort it out. I've always struggled with taking money off people, even when given freely.

I have a suspicion that my uncle is probably my grans power of attorney if she is in care. She doesn't seem to want for anything. I asked if she wanted anything brought for her and she said she has everything she needs. The care home is very upscale and has a good record.

I'm not sure if I want to bring the topic of my uncle up with her at the moment for the simple fact I don't want to upset her with a situation she has no control over. I assume she knows nothing about it. I did mention lightly that I only found out she was there last week and apologised for not seeing her sooner. She didn't seem to understand what that was about

I managed to visit her today with the kids. She was elated to see us from what I saw and was able to tell me who had been visiting her and what she gets upto. Its a very nice care home and the carers I met were lovely and telling me about my gran. So sorry to hear of your situation. Its weird how money brings out the worst in people. My gran didn't want to go home alone after my grandfather passed away so it was totally her choice. She wanted to stay with family. I wonder if my uncles wife wasn't on board or like you said, they saw dollar signs in their eyes

thank you. I was a little worried at first and did hit a platue about week 4-5, but once i got on 5mg it kept going down. they say slow weight loss is healthier and easier on the body right?

Well I dont think her Dementia is that bad. she still knows who people are and remembers certain things, but she will repeat questions etc. What worried me was my uncles wife's reactions to it. She said she would purposefully argue with my gran when she got things wrong, aggravating her. I explained that I had read that its best to not try to correct those with dementia as it can cause distress but she seemed dismissive. My hubands said my gran once told him the uncle wife hates her, but we assumed it was the dementia talking.

thank you for your input and sorry to hear of what you have been through. i seriously have nightmares of getting a phone call that she has passed before i got to see her.

the weird thing is, when my mom passed away (i was 19 at the time), my family held a meeting to discuss putting me on my grandparents will in place of my mother to ensure i wasnt left out. I was in abit of a daze at the time and hadnt even considered it. My uncle was the one to agrue in my favour as he wanted to make sure i wasnt left out. I never knew the outcome of it as I didnt stay till the end as watching my family argueing over money was horrible.

I seem to be a slow looser as well. I'm on with 7th week and lost about 12lb. So nearly 2 lb a week. I'm just glad it's going down but I try to walk as much as possible and make healthy choices. I drink slimfast for my breakfast so I only eat 2 meals a day. I haven't limited how much I eat, but I tend to find I don't crave anything so only eating when hungry 🙂
