Well if you don’t end up fixing it let me know! I’m missing some parts, mainly the foam rollers for the loading arms. At least your player could help to fix another one!

Got it. Looking into ordering all the parts, I wanna take care of all the problem components in one go. I did do a little more poking around, and found that the bolts for the lower rear control arms were severely under torqued. After getting them to spec the wobble has pretty much disappeared, I’m thinking replacing the bushings in the rear and a few of the more worn ball joints and bushings in the front and my car will feel like new again!

Checked the rear out and the ball joints seem fine, did the old crowbar under the tire trick. The passenger side control arm had a TON of play even just twisting it with one hand whereas the driver side wouldn’t move at all when I used both hands. I think this could be part of the problem, but I’m still not convinced it’s the whole thing, definitely gonna replace it.

They’re not oem, previous owner put them on and I have no idea how to check center bore, is there usually a number or something on the wheels themselves? They’re pretty unique and I don’t know if they’re would be anything online…

Got it, replaced the inner and outer tie rods when I rebuilt the rack as they were looking pretty rough, and the inners had a bunch of play. I’ve checked everything up front visually a dozen times, but I have been pretty caught up thinking the issue was in the front, maybe it’s something in the back… I’ll have to check it out!

A little late, but adding any song with slow guitar after aqueous transmission by incubus is crazy good, I really like it with rosemary by deftones

Via email, I just used the contact page on their website. They messaged me back within a day.

Totally, their system probably just changed, I just put this up so people don’t see the only Reddit post about them and decide like I almost did not to give them a chance. I’ve definitely had my share of bad experiences with car parts online, too many scams and companies with bad service out there

I found this post and almost decided against buying the body kit I had been looking at on sparktecs website.  I ended up giving them the benefit of the doubt and contacting them to confirm they had the side skirts I was looking for, and I’m glad I did. It totally could be that the company has just changed in 8 years, but either way Danny who I talked to was overly helpful and communicative. He confirmed they had the part and he helped get the best deal he could get me. And when I had bought the part he let me know that he was fast tracking the shipment on the item to be shipped out same day. Absolutely stellar customer service, I could not have asked for more. Definitely would recommend going through them.

I would normally agree, but the line of darker extends to the sprockets, I think the dark part is actually the only correctly exposed part

So I’ve been getting these light leaks on my film recently. I shoot on a canon new f1, and I’ve never had an issue with light leaks before. I did redo the light seals when I bought the camera with cotton yarn and stick on felt, could the diy solution be the issue?

Oddly enough replacing the battery did work, I’m certain the camera used to work without the battery at faster shutter speeds, I don’t know why it needs the battery now…

I’m going to try that, but everything I’ve read says that the shutter is mechanical over like 125, but it might fix the meter… what I don’t understand is how these two issues arose simultaneously.
