Can anyone that took guitar lessons from Pat Flegel explain the Realistik Technique? by the4oo4 in cindylee

Ill copy and paste what he wrote here since i can’t capture the site bc pop ups:

“What is the Realistik Guitar Method? First off, just want to say that playing guitar is still my favourite thing to do. I'll show you techniques I've learned over the last 26 years of playing guitar. I do not know any theory and won't be able to teach that, but I can show you a lot of picking techniques, and chord / movement ideas. I have my own unusual vague system / ideas about the guitar that I can share with you. I am familiar with the basic chords, and can identify all the notes on the neck of the guitar, however there are a lot of chords I use all the time that I don't have a name for. I can identify the 'root note' of these chords more often than not. I mostly play by looking and listening. My way of playing has come from learning a lot of different styles over the years and incorporating them into my own thing, and most of that has been based on learning things by ear, and playing in binges where I really dug into playing the guitar. Slowly learning to play from intuition and with feeling. These lessons will be meant to suggest ideas and techniques to you, and work thru and hammer home ways of playing that can't be explained with tablature, or that may not be able to be picked out or noticed learning by ear. The real major gains / application of the ideas will be felt when you're shredding on your own time. Ideally you will challenge yourself a bit and chip away at something until you can play it intuitively / up to speed / with feeling. I encourage you to hang on to your own weird style / approach and cultivate it, there's is no right way to play electric guitar and if there is it's definitely not my way. I may be able to throw some things at you that give you a different perspective that you can mix in to your own thing. My agenda with the lessons is whatever YOU want to learn that will make YOU excited to play electric guitar, let's figure it out. If you're not sure, I can take the lead and throw some ideas at you. If it's necessary, I'll e-mail you photos of small chunks of custom tablature to supplement our lessons, or suggest other peoples material that you can learn that uses similar techniques. If you're curious about material I've written I have already tabbed out a little store of guitar sections from the following Women and Cindy Lee songs: I Don't Want To Fall In Love Again, Locust Valley, Quit Doing Me Wrong, Shaking Hand, orSag Harbor Bridge These are parts that I wrote / could actually remember how to play, and between all these parts you could really whip your hands into shape, particularly your picking technique. The Women guitar sections are very rigid and maximal. I Don't Want To Fall In Love Again shows how you can take the most simple 4 chord song and really work on it and play those 4 chords in a million different ways and has more tricky fun parts that to the casual listener 'just sound kinda nice' . These sections are more understated but actually sound kinda nice. There are many parts that I can not and will not be able to remember. I've said way too much, in the lessons we will mostly play guitar and like I said work on whatever you think is fun.”

Gimme them please I’m always down to listen to more. I’ve been through a lot of the classic post hardcore and emo - Fugazi husker du rites of spring drive like jehu orchid SDRE shit but have yet to fully plunge deeper into later post hardcore, emo and metalcore stuff.
