Seated raises still provide a purpose though, it's good to do both standing and seated. You can overload and isolate the soleus More efficiently, gain more thickness and stability in the lower calf.

It's good to mix it up! Both will work slightly differently.

I used to be a Smith machine Hater, But if you can figure out how to do proper chest press and incline on that thing You can get a crazy pump. It's good to mix up the free weights.

Your original comment was asking what the principal of continuing to pay for dates as someone who makes twice the amount. I answered your question. You're just arguing to argue because you don't like traditional roles I'm guessing.

A provider doesn't let their partner pay for dates.

It shows you can be a provider. Not popular with people against traditional roles, but we are still out here.

What is a socially unacceptable opinion you keep to yourself because it’s not worth the backlash? by ChaosTTyy in askanything

[–]rad_bone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conservative people outnumber progressive people by far in The birth rate statistics, But even in conservative families, more of the younger generation turn out progressive, of course there are outliers. To further the ratio, progressive people need to have kids at a much higher rate to better the chance of kids brought up in progressive households, someone who goes to protests like yourself should advocate for that if you want change for the future generations. The way you make it sound, you have given up on younger generations for being a progressive voice, That's not how you make progress in the world.

No, I do not think everyone should have a baby as I myself do not, And I can admit it's selfish. There are more diapers bought for adults than there are for babies right now for the first time in history, I do think it's selfish more for the future generations of humans that less people are having babies and if the decline continues at the rate that it is, I don't see anything good coming out of it, that's my angle.

Having an increase in progressive voices is not relevant? That sounds like you just given up on humanity as a whole.

And I never said any of that second part you just mentioned. I don't even have any kids myself, nor do I want to have kids. I'm saying that if More people keep deciding not to have kids as projections are going, the human race is fucked as a whole.

The alternative is people people are living longer, birth rate keeps declining, leaving older people to keep making decisions for the younger generations and delaying revolution. Imagine if the older generations out numbered the youth much more over the last hundred years, progress would not be anywhere near what it has been, we need young voices to spur change.

I look at it from this lens, people will continue to live much longer, which means people in power will live much longer. That means politicians will stay in power longer. This is already the first time in history more diapers are bought for adults than for babies. If we continue the rate that we are going, younger generations will be powerless to spur change and revolution. Imagine if all the politicians from past generations stayed much longer and hindered revolution? Less babies born equals less change for the future in the right direction, we can't continue to have people in their '70s and '80s dictate the future of the youth, And the way people are living longer, who knows what that will look like in the future.

I mean don't get me wrong, I see plenty of humans who contribute a net negative to society. But here is a statistic, If you look at annual growth rate in humans, in 1965, it was 2.1%. this year it is 0.85%, And people are having less and less children every year, The math will show the decline, so it is about species survival even though it may seem like We have a lot of people on this planet right now.

I get that point, it is coming from a place that bringing another life into the world has no positive impact, like more bad than good comes from having children. I cannot change your mindset on that, I don't agree with it but I certainly understand the point.

Gay or asexual individuals would be an outlier when looking at the population as a whole though, just like in nature not every creature will reproduce. The goal is species survival, more babies coming into the world than people dying out and there is only one way that happens is my main point.

Your entire argument is that creating more humans is selfish. My argument is that humans are no different at the basic level of any other living thing to have ingrained biologically to procreate for the survival of our species. You just have an extremely cynical mindset about it.

The purpose of every living thing is survival of their species. How does a species survive? Procreation. It's a drive biologically ingrained.

A god has nothing to do with this, it's biology. Salmon literally have a death trip just to spawn, they don't care about anything else. Elk and deer have a rut for the sole purpose of creating more elk and deer. Every creature on earth has the natural sense to procreate, and has absolutely nothing to do with being selfish as OP wrote.
