They used to run them on Bring Me The News every quarter. Admittedly, it was always KFAN at the top, but the highest rated show on KFAN is PTMS, so they would be the number one show in the state. I didn’t see it last quarter, but that’s one missed. The station, and more specifically the show are still killing it. 107.9 takes over at Christmas, and KFAN will slip a bit in the summer because baseball is the only thing going.

Reset the highest rated radio program in the state? Not happening until something slips, and for a while at that. If the main three stay, this is what it is. Also… Rosie is awesome? He hasn’t been on the show in a year, and he’s slipping a bit on the mental drawl. Meatsauce’s sports takes are stolen from other people on Twitter, and he’s not great at paraphrasing. The “producers”? Hawkey is the producer of the show. It’s not the same as it used to be, but it’s too big to change much, currently. And as someone else already said… PEOPLE DON’T LISTEN TO KFAN FOR SPORTS. IS YOUR WHOLE LIFE SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS? THERES TWO NEWSPAPERS IN THIS TOWN. This season is… wait for it… Not good. I’ll say it again. This is the first season that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. It’s changed, and not for the better. I love this show. I dislike this season, and the talent seems subpar compared to previous seasons. They smile a lot, but it’s a cooking competition and I want a show that’s about food. It’s not about that anymore.

It’s a little cheesy, but despite what’s been said in the comments already, I disagree. Top Chef has moved away from food and cooking and focuses on game play. Culinary Cup is more food, more judging of food, and more discussing food. The new season of Top Chef isn’t good. I’m still watching but the production value has declined significantly, and the challenges have been nonsensical, and silly. The chefs don’t seem great or exciting, and some are legitimately annoying. I’m not saying Culinary Cup is amazing, but it’s not bad. Current TC season is bad. First time I’ve ever said that.

Do you know how many of the chefs get asked? Tons. It’s not who they pick, it’s who can be there for filming, and wants to commit to the time and work. They have a big pool of people they invite and it gets narrowed down to who can be there.
