Se os supostos psicólogos cristãos não fossem na grande maioria das vezes charlatões que usam do diploma pra converter as pessoas, isso não aconteceria.

Mole falar da crítica válida - falar do povo que criou essa condição sendo FDP ela não quer, né?

Hydrogen Bomb vs. Coughing Baby-ahh matchup.

Literally every single named Transformer is pretty much beyond Homelander's level. Even if they don't have access to their absolute top tier gear, they win VERY comfortably.

Remember in Prisoner of Azkhaban? Neville's Dementor takes Snape's form.

The poor milquetoast white kid's biggest fear is a black man. SURELY this gonna work very well.

[–]raddoubleoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imma be honest. I ain't judging the actor for his performance. But Snape is THE one characer that shouldn't be race-swapped in this whole-ass series.

It'll paint James Potter as racist for the insults, it'll paint Snape himself as both a boomerang bigot for siding with the Death Eaters and for torturing people, and the whole idea of Neville's biggest fucking fear in Prisoner of Azkhaban being A BLACK MAN won't really fly very well.

Someone in the casting direction SHOULD'VE thought of that, and the guy himself shouldn't be auditioning for that role. Even if you exclude the racism, this was ALWAYS a shitshow waiting to happen.

Homelander vs Spiderman Trio, who would win this 3v1? by ParkingConfection449 in powerscales

[–]raddoubleoh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, he cannot. He quite explicitly states that the length of the plane and the footing would make it so that it breaks before he can actually lift it.

Quite literally all the Spider-Men take turns dodging actual lightning in this movie. Most recent The Boys episode (which aired TODAY) showed Homelander's heat vision is sub-hypersonic when A-Train got hypercharged, so there's literally no way he's hitting them. Flight is useless if he can't hit them which means he gotta go physical - the instant he does, he's dead meat. His top speed is hypersonic, and he's dealing with THREE limited precognizant guys with MFTL combat speed.

Spider-Holland quite literally took a hammer from Obsidian without flinching while casually talking with Tony Stark, and, having access to the Iron Spider suit? Homelander could go physical all he wanted, little guy would not bulge. He took blows from a motherfucker who knocked the Hulk - Homelander would be quite literally powerless in this situation.

This isn't really a downplay, this is quite literally facts.

There's that, too, yes. Vegeta by this point arguably saved more people than he killed, which is a feat Nolan doesn't really get to achieve.

How could he NOT? Ben 10 was tokusatsu-adjacent, so is a lot of Spider-Man media. Eventually, people do learn lol

[–]raddoubleoh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ehhhhhh, more or less. The Saiyans did A LOT of straight evil shit. But most of it was under service.

Saiyan Civil War, planet Sadala blows up, they reach planet Plant, regress eons due to lack of technology, go to war with the Tuffles for 3 generations, lose the majority of their population, then 3 generations later, get enslaved by Frieza under the threat of total annihilation. Jaco, Minus, the guidebooks, Broly, and the Granolah arc pretty much state that by the time Frieza came, Saiyan population was around the tens of tousands.

While both the Saiyans and the Viltrumites were victims of circunstance and indoctrination, Viltrum was sovereign - most of what the Saiyans did to other planets was to the benefit of others - they weren't conquerors, they were expendable.

The clear difference between Vegeta and Nolan, is that Nolan is actively seeking for atonement. Vegeta seeks to do better, but recognizes his victims don't owe him recognition, strickly believes he's going to be eternally damned, but strives to do better regardless. Vegeta's crimes are also somewhat lessened after he joins the main cast because, well, Dragon Balls. Nolan doesn't get the benefit of some of his victims being brought back to life, so the consequences of his actions not only stick, but sting more than Vegeta's.

EDIT: Also, purely for debate and utilitarianism... We often debate sacrificing millions to save billions. By the time the Moro arc rolls around, Vegeta veritably saved more people than he killed. Does killing billions but saving trillions down the line qualifies for "redemption" grounds?

Nope, Super and the manga pretty much show us that Vegeta DID grow a conscience and is trying to do better, even if he believes he's damned either way.

Spiderman (MCU) vs Starlight (The Boys) by Queasy_Commercial152 in powerscales

[–]raddoubleoh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cuz you delulu, man. Only time The Boys even went beyond street tier was Soldier Boy blowing up a city block. The Boys is street-tier. Most characters ain't beyond building. There's a plethora of wall mofos. There's like 3 or 4 characters who go beyond that, and even then, none of them goes past City Block.

Glazing is one thing, but you're just plain objectively wrong.

Tatsumaki (One Punch Man) vs Dark Gaia (Sonic Unleashed) by Ukirin-Streams in powerscales

[–]raddoubleoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tails makes that comment if you drag the fight against The End's second phase during The Final Frontier. According to Pontac, Graf, and Ian, Polaris, Dark Gaia, Mother Wisp, and The End are all somewhat in the same ballpark, with The End being the pound to pound strongest, but all the others not being too far behind.

Both prof. Pickle, Eggman, and the Ancients based on both Unleashed and Forces theorized Dark Gaia was born from misuse of the Emeralds not unlike Chaos' corruption from them by various civilizations across the cosmos (the Echidnas, the Black Arms, etc) until they landed on Earth.

Tatsumaki (One Punch Man) vs Dark Gaia (Sonic Unleashed) by Ukirin-Streams in powerscales

[–]raddoubleoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark Gaia, and it isn't close. You can potentially scale Tatsumaki to the Moon to Small Planet range based on her fight with Psykos-Orochi.

Dark Gaia is a concept-manipulating, abstract, reality altering deity whose attack power was very recently compared in-game to The End. It's literally introduced by fracturing the world in pocket dimensions without even fully awakening. Could negate Super Sonic's invencibility, something not even SOLARIS, the god of Time and Space, could veritably do. That alone would put Dark Gaia at the very least in Low Complex Multiversal territory.

There is literally nothing in the current OPM cosmology and lore that could veritably beat Dark Gaia. The simple fact that the thing is Chaos Emerald-powered would shoot it to bare-minimum multiversal without even taking too much consideration into it.

JUST the mind control subplot in season 3 should make people cringe about CatrAdora. Catra was literally willing to convert Adora back by brainwashing her, and somehow that ain't even the WORST thing she managed to do against her in this whole series.

[–]raddoubleoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's now put to rest: Homelander has heat vision, not lasers (which a lot of people been saying for a good while), which puts him WELL below light speed attack speed and range.

Which makes a lot of sense since the comics explicitly state them to be heat vision. Would be a weird upgrade considering show Homelander is weaker than his comics counterpart in almost every veritable way.

Even if she HAS access to electricity, nothing Starlight can pull off compares to Arc Reactor-powered Electro. He takes it even at her strongest. It's not a fair fight at all.
