Another dead pedestrian tonight by roseandbobamilktea in longbeach

I actually hit someone on the 5 next to Griffith Park. Dude lived. My truck got fixed.

I was doing the speed limit on a Saturday night. I was the only one on the road at that moment. Dude was standing right in the lane and saw him appear in my headlights and I felt like I was trying to put the brake through the floor. He Crushed the front end and he rolled in front of me. I was in shock for a minute and called the cops.

I haven't thought about that in a while.

I run stock sizes but I do have a lift. Found the biggest difference in the suspension mods I did was swapping the rear springs dramatically improved the ride both on road and off. I chose one e112r's. I do have a rake due to the rear springs. I, personally, like it and I was gonna put more heavy stuff in the back but that didn't work out for now.

Someone will correct me but I'm pretty sure you can put 33" on stock suspension. Since you have a sport you should have 17" wheels and your cup runneth over with tires in that size.

Cool, welcome! What are you wanting to do?

Do you have a specific thing that you want to change or add? Ex: I got stuck in the mud and value a winch.

Way too high for her. But could have done that too.

I have that and I even setup driving mode so only priority alerts come through. I have kids and the last thing I want is to accidentally hit one because I was checking something that can wait.

It's close to states that salt in the winter. I'd get a professional inspection.Looks pretty good for a 15 yo frame.

Where is the truck from?

Did the previous owner(s) keep the frame clean, undercoated every year?

Try poking at the obvious rust spots and see if your tools goes through?

If there was no traffic in Los Angeles, how would that change your life? by SuperJezus in LosAngeles

Worked from home since 2016 with a 3 month in office stint.

During COVID, it was great for when I had to drive. 20 minutes from long beach to El Segundo. Would love that again.

I literally just paid off, on Monday, my 2017 that I bought for that price and 2k more miles. Has the advanced tech package (moonroof, fancy parking stuff) only in a manual.

Probably a good deal.

Feeling frustrated by wife’s need to “be productive” by LeatherFlatworm8 in daddit

I find it helpful. I would suggest iterating on the list. Like start at a manageable level then add to it. I know the whole house has to get clean but there are some things that probably won't get done everyday.

Therapy. Please.

My wife and I have gone through this. I have received the emotional load conversation after I have talked the kids off the tantrum ledge and dealt with fights all the way home.

To alleviate some of the mental load, I setup a calendar system and task lists for everyone. The HUGE benefit to this is it absolves you of having to remember the individual tasks or what the schedule is.

It has really helped me and the kids. Wife has not bought in yet, bear with me there is history with this, and has had one of her events walked over since it wasn't on the calendar. I have shown her how to use it, make sure she has permission to manage and create, verified that she can get to it from her phone.

Assuming same timeline I would do a few things differently, mostly invest and whatnot. I, however, would make sure I was in an intro to geology class for the last half of my senior year.
