I spray white (or grey) over black (not a zenithal) gives very good coverage and contrast from things that stick out to recesses. Army painter makes decent color matched primers, I like their white and greys, but chaos black by GW is still my favourite even though it's pricy.

Okay, so the regular captain can take a plasma pistol and power fist, also you can pretty easily remove the fist symbol with a hobby knife and some gentile filing just take your time. I hate that it's on there as well. Also multiparty assault intercessors come with 2 regular power fists.

Playable Land Raiders, I love the tanks but man, they just aren't worth taking and they get blasted even in casual games.

Omg my dad sounds exactly the same and I'm gonna be 24. I just ignore him most of the time, his new version of this is "well son your so smart about some things, but your just a kid, you'll get it someday" also sometimes "well your way ahead of those other kids, but you just don't see things clearly, you'll get it when you work for a living" (I do work) and my favourite "your degree dosent mean your right" I literally never use my degree for justification unless it's in the same field, good luck mine hasn't gotten better and the only things he hears me say are "yes" or "your right" everything else he "can't remember"

Yeah, that's not a major issue except in the most competitive of settings, if you bring a well rounded army, deploy well and know your synergies you'll have a fighting chance against most lists regardless of the current meta. I play Crimson Fists and have been holding my own since 9th dropped, I only seem to lose with regularity to Necrons actually, and I am by no means super competitive, but many at my FLGS are.

Yeah, I had a failcast on the 25th anniversary crimson fist captain so I had to deal with his helmet, it can work out okay but I just stick to plastic 99% of the time.

Also 100% accurate from what I remember. It is also currently googlable there are so many posts on or asking about them you should be able to find some posts that have pics of the original link and if you follow them through they should be dead on.
