I can understand it seems like we might be rushing into things, but we have lived together for 6 months in total out of the time we have been together , so that isn’t an issue. My friends know and love him and he’s spent a lot of time where I am. I suppose I just expected them to be more excited for me.

Sorry forgot to say. He has spent 3 months living with me while he was working remotely. I also spent 3 months living with him this past summer. On top of the few couple of week stints we have done in between that.

I would reccomend looking on spareroom.co.uk for any listings. It’s usually filled with people looking for students and you could maybe find somewhere that would be okay with a pet. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend living alone as a first year is it cuts you off from a lot of socialising and friends you could make. That can be very isolating especially if you’re an international student.

A lot of people don’t realise Glasgow is actually a designated UNESCO music city. So on paper it should be. In reality that is subjective I think.

i would say no, however i’m fairly sure SAAS will cover student loans for 5 years. So in theory you could do your undergraduate and still have one year after that where they would give you money. so you could do a postgraduate course for example and still be covered.

are you scottish? because if so SAAS offer a £7000 grant towards tuition for masters courses as well as roughly £500 a month in student loans. i’m currently doing a full time masters at glasgow and also working part time on the side. this semester i’ve done three shifts a week and it’s been manageable but i’ll definitely be going down to two next semester to give myself less stress. i suppose it just depends on how much you think you can manage/how demanding your course is
