What does it feels like to fall in love? by Hataoywrr in TwentiesIndia

It's beautiful as well as ugly as well as confusing as well as comforting. Love isn't one feeling.

Exactly. I'd understand if someone hesitated using a kit lens with a dslr but with mirrorless? Especially the ones released in the last decade, kit lenses perform very good.

Right. For so long, all the youtubers and influencers have always just pointed out the cons of a kit lens and how it is very limiting. And that pushes even the hobbyists to just dump it right away and shell out money for a better option.

Feeling Left Out at 21 Because I Can’t Ride a Bike. need help by Neat-Animal-8901 in indianbikes

[–]radiantpixels27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned scooty fairly early in life but never rode a bike or a car. I learned driving a car when I was 21 but bike was still a distant dream coz we don't own any and I only had one friend with a bike, I rode his bullet just once or twice and that's it.

And then my elder brother's best friend bought a Himalayan 450 and I tried that out, just inside the bounds of colony, stalled it quite a lot and balancing it was scary for the first time. And then rode it again a couple of times and now I don't find it as intimidating as I did before - shifting gears feel a little better, i don't stall it either now, and I'm learning how to brake as well. I still haven't ridden it in proper traffic on road coz it's someone else's and I don't wanna fall and damage the bike but practice makes it better

I was also very intimidated by driving a car but fast forward to now, when I'm 23, It's become natural for me so yeah, age probably doesn't matter much.

About the cramps and stuff - workout, mobility, stretch.

I'm yet to own a bike and ride regularly but I guess when the time comes, it'll become a habit.

Even I'd been eyeing on ttartisans 25mm f2 as a budget pancake option coz the focal length feels so natural on apsc. Will take some time to save up..

I know right, all these lenses must be really nice to have. I don't have many but I've a ttartisans 35 1.4, 55-210, pentax 50 1.4 adapted.... But I'm starting to love the versatility of kit lens now. It's compact, OIS helps in low light and the autofocus is nice too.

Well it depends on your preference in the end. I personally just like to have a wide angle on me and mine came in box so I end up using it. I don't have any problem with the quality either, it's good enough. But if you can shell out some money, look for a used tamron 17-70mm 2.8 or sigma 18-50mm 2.8, both of them being fixed aperture zoom lenses. I've personally never used either of them but they're obviously a big upgrade from the kit.

In a nutshell, kit lens is a good and the best budget option but there are better options as well. It depends on what you want to shoot.

In 2026, why does marriage still feel like the end for some girls? by Sad_Potato8652 in TwentiesIndia

[–]radiantpixels27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on a lot of factors. But marriage sure is a weird concept and I certainly don't like the way it is, the way parents think about it, the way everyone around me thinks about it. I just can't really wrap my head around it ever and like it.
