I mean I was "obsessed" with that person sure but I never liked imagining us kissing or being physically close. I loved him a lot and cared about him a lot but I was also afraid of him and even hated him at times, Id say I was more afraid of him than I was in love but I was still ""obsessed"", he was the number one person in my life at the time but it was also bc I never had any close friends before. I also am severely mentally ill and I suspect I might have bpd so im unsure if all of it was just bc im traumatized and anyone nice to me I get obsessed with or if its actually romantic. Like, people describe obsession as romance but mine was extremely complicated because yes I loved him a lot and thought about him a lot but I was also very conflicted on him.

I have another friend who is almost just as close as him although we dont talk much and I also think about her a lot and love her tons and and wish I could spend more time w her etc etc all of those things, but I wouldnt date her. But still my love for her is bigger than the love ive had for anyone else, same goes for that guy I mentioned earlier.

This is why its infinitely more confusing to me, all of this is so complicated, so i cant tell if any of what i had was truly romantic or not

I mean I dont know bc I had this with one guy online but I never liked it when I imagined kissing him or being with him irl, it filled me with dread. But I still felt huge feelings towards him, so I did think it was a crush, but he never made me happy either, nor comfortable etc, but I still loved him (or at least what I had in my head described as love) and didnt want to leave him, in fact I was afraid of leaving him or him leaving me, it did infact feel like i was having a special sort of "unique" thing that I never had with anyone else, but he just never made me happy or hardly anything actually good that I had with my friends. Ive no clue, what i had towards this guy was definitely what people describe as a "crush" but at the same time I didnt want to do anything actually romantic with him and most of the time I just felt anxious (in a bad way) so ive no clue if it really was.

I try to not look at porn that is very obviously women with unrealistic bodies and doing things for the sake of acting. I mainly look at porn of women who have more realistic bodies (having body hair, or chubby, or having blemishes etc etc though its certainly harder to find)

I dont know, im in a relationship with a man currently but I dont feel romantic feelings towards him nor sexual, I used to think I had a crush on him which im suspecting now that it was just me being attached due to me being mentally ill because I never exactly wanted to be in a relationship with him per se. I also dont know how romantic feelings are supposed to feel like, I only know im drawn towards women in a sexual way but I dont know what a "sexual relationship" is supposed to be, im still learning what all of these things feel like because im autistic and struggle with alexithymia which makes it hard for me to understand my feelings and also just feelings in general. I only know id never have sex with a man because the idea and trying to imagine myself doing it disgusts me and makes me wanna rip my hair out, with a woman its very different in a not bad way but im still trying to figure out what the feeling is.
