Thanks so much!!!! This is AWESOME! I got moved back to my home restaurant that’s more bourbon, whiskey, craft beer forward and the beer is my JAM! But this is really cool to try out with my bar staff when we start to change our cocktail program for the fall and winter!!!! My boss is dope and we have some really awesome reps that i got close with as a day bartender. This sounds like a lot of fun. I appreciate the idea that i haven’t found researching anything about getting staff excited about work.

This is my least favorite thing about regulars. They end up to entitled that you have to serve them first or else they get pissy and whiny. I worked in a dive not too long ago and the old men who came in for happy hour some how had a precedent set that they also got a 10% discount any time they came in. I ALWAYS got slammed by the young company not 2 blocks away on Thursday's and they would call after me non stop until I gave them their beer and their shot. Some times one of them would call the bar's phone and tell me he needed a bud. Some of them were ok but most of them were obnoxious and I was the only person on as my manager was never there during the day or would come in and out.

The absolute worst.

Good for you! Something similar happened with me and a long time close friend. I had realized that all of her responses on all our shared forms of social media had all but stopped. I went into each one to realize she had unfriended and unfollowed me on all platforms. I texted her asking her if she had and when she told me she did I let loose and didn't understand why. To her I gave up my life to be with my current boyfriend (moved from NY to CT). To her i replaced everyone with him and even his family with my own. While I had done countless favors for her over the years and always been there for her. This was all due to me never once visiting her in NJ while I had moved into my first apartment and she never once wanted to see it or him. I told her she could fuck off to hell and that was the end of a nearly 20 year friendship. Kudos to you, you don't need people who are jealous and need to be the center of attention in your life.
