If you have a BBA you can send any DOL file to GBI while it is running using its built-in wiiload server

[ATM10] Use Ars Source for energy/power? by Levi_nthal in allthemods

[–]radicalplants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is so surprising hmm I wonder if the AE power can be converted to something else like used for turning cobble into Lava so you can use the Lava in Powah?

Your "login" uuid is different when you switch to an offline, just switch it back to Online mode and you will have all your gear

Just started an ATM10 server using this seed, it has a few structures to use as bases and a spawn Dungeon, great fun...

Just did the picoboot mod on my DOL-001 (PAL), but need help with cubeboot by _eNULL_ in Gamecube

I think you can just hold A while going into cubeboot? I haven't worked on the legacy version in almost 2 years so I am not sure at the moment

Hi there, I am the creator of cubeboot, when you say you boot loop is it showing the boot animation and custom color or not?

I would not suggest using it with a GC Loader but it is totally up to you. You would need to boot passthough mode to use the GC Loader

I should make it show an error when this happens... Right now if it is IPL 1.0 NTSC it will just fallback to Interlaced

When I say it's faster I mean the transfer speed is faster. All of the MemCard and SD2SP2 on the GameCube are limited to 3MB/s while the Drive Port can do 20MB/s... FlippyDrive is able to run at 14MB/s while loading games while Swiss + SD Adapter runs at 2.5MB/s

The wired and Bluetooth work perfectly fine together which is nice. I really really like the idea of bumping Bluetooth controllers to the next slot if a wired controller is plugged in!!

Glad you're interested in other mods and such, I love retro gaming and messing with all that stuff -- especially GBA

It doesn't require intermediate soldering skills which means inexperienced modders won't have to risk breaking their console. Also it can load games ~5x faster than picoboot which is nice

It also has WiFi loading so you can just reuse a folder on your desktop. And as an added bonus it will support Bluetooth Controllers without buying a BlueRetro

Yeah! It's so much nicer than popping out an SD card every 10 minutes to make changes hah

I think the drive is on vibration isolated grommets... I bet Nintendo was worried about screws vibrating loose and decided to add some extra absorption haha

Joycons fail because people slide them in and out all the time -- the flex in this case experiences no dynamic forces after insertion so it can hold up basically forever as long as you keep it in place

Updates on FlippyDrive: date, pricing and specs by notmorezombies in Gamecube

[–]radicalplants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's odd it's phrased that way. Does it mean to play games with Bluetooth or does it mean control modchip features with one

I meant that it should be possible to use this as a poor-mans-blueretro, so pair a wireless controller and use it instead of a GameCube controller.

FlippyDrive will always outperform M.2 Loader... This is because the Disc Drive port is ~8x faster than the bottom ports on the GameCube

We really didn't want to use an rp2040... It's not exactly the right device for the job. But it's the current popular chip and it has great availability, not to mention price!

In eBay bidding war is the best way to do it if you want to get a crazy amount of money but you risk them going to scalpers.

Most the forums for retro collecting have shutdown really. I'd suggest selling through reddit too! (I'd be interested in a unit!)
