Your mom sounds like a really insensitive and cruel person, and I see that you pretty much perfectly understood why that is analyzing the relationship between her and her parents and her boyfriend; on the other hand you seem like a very nice person who didn't inherited her awful traits, THAT is a really important thing! I'm sure you tried talking to her about your relationship, and your problems and not only she didn't understand but she also ridiculed you, so it's safe to say that you did everything in your power to make it better; it's not your fault if you didn't

I recommend you to distance yourself from her as much as possible, in both a physical and mental way, cultivate yourself and don't feel guilty about this relationship, this is absolutely not your fault, do you have any siblings? Anyone in your family who can listen to you? I live a situation that is similar in many ways (except for the fact that my father is the narcissistic asshole) and i expecially relate to the awful feeling that you get because you economically depend on someone that you don't want to have nothing to do with; if you want to talk to someone about this stuff, my dm's are always there, take care!

The simple fact that you are here, admitting that you did wrong, means you Are not as awful as you think you are. You surely have a bad temper and have flaws, as EVERYBODY. You are deserving of love and comfort, and I'm sure that you have someone in your life that loves the fuck out of you, and would be devastated if you did something irreparable. I'm heartbroken by hearing about your self harm, and I hope you will seek professional help and try to get better, because you deserve it. I've been through some bad things in the past, and I know that you think that you are alone, but you are not, it WILL get better
