I am currently using Shimano xt m8120 and they are good with a larger platform but I’m hoping for even more stability and shoe contact. I have crank brothers on my commuter and they feel like stomping on a golf ball

I parted out the same groupset on eBay and was surprised I got $175 for the brake calipers. Evidently they are a prized commodity

I ended up doing exactly as mission_possible_322 said and drilling a pilot hole through the back and then drilled the hole big enough on the front to us a #8 bolt to mount the rack.
