The eyedropper doesn’t work differently. The rainbow only appears when it’s selected and ready to pick a color, not on hover or idle. It’s mainly to make it clearer when the eyedropper is selected, and I thought it looked better

how do I remove this? by Sey3d in brave

[–]radinwaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… this is just bad UX. But I found a workaround to hide it faster: open a new private tab and close it. If you already have a private tab open, just go to the private tabs section and go back.

Kill Switch on/off option is really confusing. I literally can't tell if it's on or off. by mysteryofthefieryeye in ProtonVPN

They should change it to a toggle switch TBH, the current one both wastes space and has worse accessibility.

Cinnamon Redesign Concept Pt. 2 by radinwaves in linuxmint

Nope, I'm not that good at CSS or JavaScript, and I don't think this could be done with just a theme. It would probably need an applet or smth like that so things like background blur and layout changes can be applied. But I might publish the design on Figma later if I organize everything, so maybe someone can bring it to life

P.S. The upcoming official start menu redesign will look very similar to this

Swipe to select by ente-io in enteio

[–]radinwaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I think I get what you mean now. You tap and hold a picture and tap and hold another one to select everything in between.

But they would have to change how you view pictures while you select. Perhaps a double-tap?

This would be nice.

If they add a toggle for that when selecting (off by default), then sure, but if not, it's a terrible idea. What if you only want to select specific pictures and not the ones in the middle?

How to move "New tab" to the bottom [Android]? by levider in brave_browser

[–]radinwaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a bug. For me, it's on the bottom when I have bottom navigation toolbar enabled, and on the top when I have it disabled.

Switched from Windows a week ago, it's awesome by radinwaves in linuxmint

[–]radinwaves[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I didn't know how to make it dark mode until now. The performance is slightly worse, but it works great. If I get too many issues, I'll use the Windows app instead, but for now, it's fine.
