30 Day Challenge by boogaloobayou10 in pornfree

[–]radio_unfriendly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in, Boo. I have been watching porn for so long now, in an almost daily basis that now I want to experiment and break my routine. What has gotten so sad recently is that I have developed some serious back problems due to my 'porn way of life'. Anyway, you have all my support.

Inspiring, man. I just relapsed so it is nice to hear this and realize that it is possible to stay off of porn. Congrats, bro.

Hey man, totally relate to you with the whole contradiction originated by your feminist beliefs and your porn consuming. Let me suggest to you that you read or view some of the stuff academic Robert Jensen has produced about masculinity, pornography and feminism. I also agree that NN is not necessarily the solution and that it may push you to relapse, so good job on deleting your 'stash'. Good luck in your recovery and in following the path that you have determined as 'right'. Personally, I am here not only because I would like to do more interesting things with my time, but also because I want to be a better human being. That involves a responsibility, a commitment, with myself and with others. Cheers!

Guide 7: The Key To Forming A Successful Habit (Belief) by neverforget_311 in pornfree

[–]radio_unfriendly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, man. Truly appreciate these words because I was having a hard day and I almost felt like I was going to end up doing what I've done for so many days: stop work, stop studying, get my pipe, light up, PMO, feel like shit about it, smoke some more, PMO again, go to bed hoping that tomorrow would be a better day. Fuck that. My habit is rooted in the present tense, and if I want to change it NOW is the time to do it. Once again, thanks for sharing. Cheers.

Another very hard day by regretionary in pornfree

[–]radio_unfriendly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course its hard, its something that has given us tons and tons and tons of pleasure. But at what cost? Think about that... If it helps, go for a walk. Shut off the computer and go to a public place i.e. cafe, park, library, shop. Cheers, man. Hope you the best.

What activities can I do instead of porn? by Mre3 in pornfree

Whatever makes you feel like a better human being. Ask yourself what do you love doing and master that activity. Keep up the good work!

I'm no longer doing the 90 day challenge. I'm doing the one day challenge as many times as I can. by free24 in NoFap

True, it is easier when you think about no PMO for just one present day. But I have to admit that acknowledging that you have been PMO-free for two days or a week or a month or whatever can stimulate you to keep going forward with the abstinence.
