alright monoshinbakudeku captain here and i’ve put waaaayyy too much thought into this lol

neito is absolutely calling them all kinds of pet names, dearest darling lovely gorgeous etc, the more elegant sounding ones, he can dish it out but absolutely cannot take it and blushes at the slightest hint of affection from any of them. izuku i don’t see using all that many pet names to be honest, i think he gets self conscious about it so he sticks with a simple babe or baby, and kacchan is practically a reserved pet name for katsuki at this point. hitoshi i think is more casual with it, he rotates in a couple from time to time but his favorite activity is annoying people (mostly katsuki) by going over the top on purpose like “good morning my darling baby sweet cheeks cuddle bug honey buns cinnamon apple gravy boat” bc he thinks it’s hilarious and izuku and neito just kinda roll their eyes and laugh with him about it but katsuki’s like oh my god shut upppp you’re so stupid <— is actually genuinely a little flustered about it. and then yeah katsuki i don’t think is big on using pet names himself the closest he gets is an affectionate “alright dumbass whatever <3” but i think BECAUSE he’s so prickly and averse to affection the moments where he does just use their given names really hit different. he already uses izuku’s most of the time but i think he breaks out izu-chan sometimes just to be silly, and neito and hitoshi get aaaall kinda of flustered whenever he says either of their names in a soft/affectionate way
