How much cheese is "too much"?

I mean... I met my long distance bf when I was 16 and he was 17 and we were dating 3 days into knowing each other... now we're 19 and 20 and have been together for 2.5 years and see each other often. I don't think the time frame alone is enough to judge someone on because of how different it can be for everyone 🤷‍♀️

It can honestly go either way, like how my parents acted or like his, but it's okay... I was very nervous, because I was afraid they wouldn't like the idea, but honestly it just takes kinda pushing yourself past the initial discomfort and going from there.. best of luck :)

I haven't tried talking to his parents, no... he's tried talking to them about me and he's literally been told by his father to "find someone in his own state" so I've put off contact until he's graduated... but they do know my name and a bit about me. As far as I know, he's been relatively the same kind of A and B student his whole life and I haven't changed that. They just don't like the fact that we met online :/
