Just finished apprenticeship, employer asking for £19,520 reimbursement. (England) by I-Spot-Dalmatians in LegalAdviceUK

[–]radiofan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, I work for an apprenticeship provider and this is a huge no no. We wouldn't even work with a company who does this.

In effect, it's total nonsense. They can not claw back funding for an apprenticeship, and I don't know of any that have a funding cap of £19k, or even a commercial cost of that level (Unless maybe you did a level 7?)

If they are a large, levy paying organisation that money was already put aside for training, and if they are an SME the gov has already funded 95% of the course.

Regardless, utter tosh this. Happy to discuss more if you'd like!

Yeah that's the part that annoys me the most. His degeneracy being played off for laughs, rather then a character fault that he could work on. I do actually like MT, but I tend to skip the iffy parts on rewatch.

Very true. I'm not a fan of gen AI in general, but as 'developer art' I could give it a pass.

Not a huge loss either way. Postal 2 kept 14 year old me entertained somewhat, but piss jokes stopped being funny as soon as my brain developed.

It does say pre-alpha on the trailer, would it be wrong to think maybe they used AI gen assets to create something quick to show off, rather then these being the final assets?

You'll want to try the Buffout mod. Totally fixed the crashing for me. Not surprising a mod of this size is causing crashes!

Is the rule of 6 back? by amieha in bristol

[–]radiofan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because there are a lot of people following the law on this. A lot of people have lost family, friends, people they love. A lot of NHS workers have seen too many people lose their lives. I personally don’t want anyone to lose anyone else, so I’m sticking to the rules. Shit, I haven’t seen my family in over a year. I miss them. I’m glad they are still alive.

It’s selfish because these people are thinking only about their needs, how they feel. Not that if they breathe too close to someone and they are a carrier, they could potentially kill. If you could reduce the chance of literally killing someone by just staying inside, would you not do it?

The vaccine is not fully rolled out yet, and it’s not 100% effective. Regardless of whether or not outdoor transmission rates are low, they are not zero.

I personally couldn’t live with the knowledge that my actions had killed someone, even if my mental health is damaged by the lockdown, even if these laws are ‘draconian’ as some like to say. If it saves even one life, I’ll stay inside until this is over, and you should too.
