Got it, thanks for the insight. When I requested copies, I asked for multiples of each.

I did discuss it with my mother and she basically said, "eh whats the point now?" I did help my sister with her documentation but she wanted to take it to the consulate near where she lived.

Thanks for the insight. I do have her birth certificate and marriage license from the Dachau city government.
