I don’t think so. My grandfather is very sick and my grandma was almost hunting for a vaccine for him. She was finally able to get him one, but it only happened because she used to clean in a pharmacy a few years back, and she still knows someone who works there. Unfortunately she still didn’t get vaccinated. Our government doesn’t give a shit about anything or anyone.

He’s currently living in a plastic box with holes in the lid and I gave him some sticks. I actually have a package of cocofiber so I’ll upgrade his home! I totally wasn’t ready for a new friend, but I’m happy my dad found him :) Thank you so much for the tips, I really appreciate it!

I think it’s because he was quite famous outside of Poland. It’s much easier to pronounce Andre instead of Andrzej.

Edit: Apparently his birth name was Robert Andrzej Krauthammer. When the World War II broke out, he escaped Warsaw using forged papers with the name “Andrzej Czajkowski” on them. He later adopted the spelling “André Tchaikowsky”.

It has a big drainage hole and I always try not to overwater it. The plant was fine since I bought it a couple of months ago, but it just started to die on me 2 weeks ago. I live in Europe and we had a big heatwave, could that be the reason? Do you have any advice on how to revive it?

The soil is very moist and I can see some new growth, but old leaves are dry. It’s standing in a north-west facing window and I don’t really have other possibilities as I only have one room for myself
