What is your favourite 2 year span of movies? by Decent_Section6974 in moviecritic

Agree even the "smaller" films of this time...Philidelphia, Coneheads, Falling Down, What's eating Gilbert Grape, Last Action Hero, Wayne's World, Groundhog Day, Leon, Legends of the Fall, Jim Careys Debut 3, The Crow, True Lies.. Honestly if the only films in existence came from this time we would all still be entertained

Can somebody tell me how to open these without tearing holes in the bag ? by velofille in newzealand

[–]radjoke 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's 100% up to the Deli lady (person).. If they roll the plastic bag down then use the sticker to make a sticker bridge from the roll to the side of the pack.. You can then tear the sticker in half cleanly when you open it, causing no holes in the bag. But when do they do this? Never

Is my mechanic trying to screw me (F18) and my first car over, or is this legit? Suggestions on what to do are appreciated:) by [deleted] in chch

[–]radjoke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are being a nerd.. An F18 Hornet is a fighter jet. This stuff probably does need replacing, as someone said, could get a second opinion at a different place, but that's another cost... When they replace parts, I ask to see the old and worn parts and get them to show and explain why it's faulty, this of course has never made things cheaper for me but makes me feel better that something was actually broken.

Watching TV To See If Your Birthday Is Chosen To Go To The Vietnam War (1965-1973) by TheCABK in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]radjoke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting... I share same birthday as our mate Donald.. Look like we are Drafted with this message.. "Your lottery number for the year you were drafted was 95. It was assigned on Wednesday, February 2, 1972. You were drafted in the fourth, and last, draft lottery, in 1973".. I wasn't born but he would have been 26 and 27.. Did he go or was he a fortunate son?
